We recently had the chance to connect with Tiffany Hernandez and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
Mental health. It is extremely forbidden almost and I feel it’s a crisis
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Tiffany Hernandez, the founder and visionary behind Kanna Kweens LLC, a brand born out of resilience, healing, and the belief in the extraordinary power of nature. My story is deeply personal: after more than 20 years of being told I could never have children and facing a breast cancer scare, I turned to plant-based healing with cannabis oil. Within weeks, my health transformed — the tumors disappeared, and against all odds, I became pregnant with my miracle babies. That moment didn’t just change my life — it inspired a movement.
Kanna Kweens is more than a beauty and wellness brand; it’s an award-winning, community-rooted experience. Our signature Hair Rejuvenation Serum has already claimed nine industry awards, including Best CBD Brand and Best CBD Topical. We’ve also introduced luxury Japanese Head Spa rituals to Tucson, creating a sanctuary where beauty, wellness, and self-care come together in a way that is both indulgent and deeply restorative.
What makes Kanna Kweens remarkable is our purpose: we are not only redefining self-care with products and services that truly work, but we are also building a legacy brand that empowers women, supports families, and champions holistic healing. Every product, every ritual, and every initiative is guided by our motto: We Believe in the Power of the Flower.
Right now, I’m focused on expanding Kanna Kweens into new markets, building partnerships with salons and dispensaries, and laying the foundation for an even bigger vision — transforming Kanna Kweens into a global wellness empire that changes lives and creates opportunities for generations to come.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds are often broken by misunderstandings, unspoken expectations, betrayal of trust, pride, or neglect. When communication falters and compassion is lost, even the strongest ties can weaken. Distance — whether physical, emotional, or spiritual — can quietly erode connection over time if it isn’t tended to.
What restores them?
Healing comes through honesty, vulnerability, and forgiveness. Bonds are restored when people choose to listen with empathy, acknowledge the hurt, and take responsibility for their part. Acts of care, consistent effort, and showing up authentically breathe life back into relationships. At the root of it all is love — choosing love over ego, over fear, and over silence.
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
Honestly, I thought getting my Hair Rejuvenation Serum into dispensaries was the only way to prove myself and my brand. I chased it so hard, and every time a door shut in my face, it felt like I wasn’t good enough — like maybe I had failed. It hurt.
But that “failure” forced me to look deeper and ask myself, what if there’s another way? That’s when the vision for the 420 Head Spa was born. Instead of fighting to be on someone else’s shelf, I created my own space in Tucson where the serum isn’t just a product — it’s part of an entire healing experience.
That shift taught me one of the hardest and most beautiful lessons: failure isn’t the end, it’s the redirection. What I thought was a loss actually opened the door to something even bigger than I had imagined.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
For me, it’s bringing a luxury water park back to Tucson. Our city deserves a space where families can make memories, kids can laugh and play, and adults can enjoy moments of escape and relaxation. I see it as more than just a water park — I see it as a community hub that brings people together in joy.
Of course, I also believe in creating space for everyone, so while the park will be family-friendly at its core, we’ll also host special events for adults — from elevated 420-friendly gatherings to unforgettable themed nights. It’s a project close to my heart, and no matter how long it takes, I’m committed to making it a reality. For Tucson. For the community. For the legacy I want to leave behind.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I know without a doubt that I’m doing what I was born to do. This isn’t something I was told to pursue — this is God’s calling for my life. Healing is in my soul, and it’s something I will do until the day I die.
For me, it’s not just about products or services, it’s about healing my culture — my Hispanic community — especially the women. So many of us carry generational pain, unspoken struggles, and the weight of being strong for everyone else. My mission is to create spaces and tools that remind women of their worth, their power, and their ability to heal.
This isn’t work for me — it’s purpose. It’s legacy. It’s God’s way of using my story to light the path for others.
