An Inspired Chat with Frank A. Ramos of Columbia, MD

Frank A. Ramos shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Frank A., it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
The most surprising thing I’ve learned about my customers is that a lot of them already have everything they need — the story, the talent, the product. What they’re missing is visibility. Once you help them get seen in the right way, everything changes. It’s never about reinventing them, it’s about amplifying what’s already there.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Frank Anthony Ramos, and I’m the founder of Mediji Media. I started out selling cars, and that’s where I learned the power of relationships and storytelling. Eventually I picked up a camera, and what began as shooting videos turned into building a full digital marketing agency.

At Mediji Media, we help businesses stand out by combining video production, social media, and AI-powered marketing strategies. What makes us unique is that we don’t just make content — we make sure it actually drives visibility, customers, and growth.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding the agency and building my personal brand so I can help even more entrepreneurs show up, speak up, and be known. For me, it’s not just about marketing — it’s about helping people get the attention and opportunities they deserve.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
I’d say my Hispanic family taught me the most about work. My dad showed me what real work ethic looks like — showing up every day and doing it with excellence. My uncles taught me entrepreneurship. With little English, no fancy software, and very few resources, they still built businesses that generated over half a million a year. Watching that showed me that success isn’t about what you have, it’s about how hard you’re willing to work and how creative you can get with what’s in your hands.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
One thing I changed my mind about after failing hard was thinking the market was the problem. I used to say, ‘the market is down, no one’s buying.’ The truth is, the market could be down, but that doesn’t mean people stop spending. It forced me to shift my mindset — instead of blaming the market, I had to ask myself, how am I adjusting my approach, my strategies, my effort to get customers and close sales? The problem wasn’t them, it was me. Once I owned that, everything changed.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
An important truth I believe is that success isn’t just about making money, it’s about managing it. Most people don’t take the time to really understand money — how to invest it, grow it, or put it to work. The common mindset is: work, get paid, spend, save a little, maybe buy a house. But I believe the real freedom comes when you learn how to manage income wisely — putting it into things like IRAs, index funds, or a portfolio that grows over time. That’s where the game changes.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
This question honestly left me in shock. If I knew I had 10 years left, I’d stop doubting my decisions and my vision. I’d cut out distractions, stop spending time on things that don’t matter, and remove any negative mindset. I’d speak life, focus on what matters, and move with urgency. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, so this isn’t just a thought — it’s something I’m choosing to live by now.
