We recently connected with Kelly Alexander and have shared our conversation below.
Kelly, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence was developed as most others, through trial error and self love. Meaning I desired to grow in an area of life that took time, guided studying and trials that did not feel so good. With that being a part of life I had to incorporate self reassurance, meditation and only listen to actual teachings that would help me think, react and feel that which I wanted to be, as though I was. I practice this often and each day I see and feel the confidence needed to esteem myself worthy of any and everything.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I produce a show called Models Talk. I have had the pleasure of interviewing, Designers, Models, Actors and Singers. My show focuses of the Beauty and positivity of each talent featured. What’s special about it, is that we allow the viewer to really get a chance to know the personal and amazing side of each person featured. My show is viewed on Roku tv as well as social media platforms and our website.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, I think 3 qualities that are and have been most impactful in my journey have been the ability to love. The ability to love oneself, love others and love what I do. When those 3 loves are in place You will work hard to keep your mind, body and soul intact using love as the source for peace and healing. When you love what you do, you will find that it’s OK to study, to train, to pay for knowledge or to fail and that’s only because it’s not really failure, it’s actual underground growth rooting you deeper in the field of expertise that you desire. So my answer are the 3 levels of Love for what you desire as a way to best develop the skills that will sustain you.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
