Tina Crossley shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Tina, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Although I have experienced feeling like a wanderer, at this moment it feels like I am following a more guided path, rather than my normal rebellious route.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tina Crossley. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California! I am very interested in Singing. I have been blessed to sing and perform in many places in my new location, San Antonio Texas. I am currently in a Cover Band called Indigo X. I am a lead singer and a keyboardist. Currently we play for many venues, weddings and parties.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mother saw me clearly before I could see myself. My mother is very easy to talk to. If ever I felt discouraged or needed empowerment, she has always been there for me. She’s also a wonderful coach because of her showbiz experience. She sends me strong quotes from people that she believes helps her, through their poetry.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Although no one likes to suffer it has always taught me that I can make it through this event or situation because I usually come out on the other end, better.
Sad times can’t last forever, and you wouldn’t know what up was if you never had any downs!
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, because that’s all I know how to be. It’s much more difficult to keep up a facade. Lies can go on for ever, but truth will set you free from unnecessary charades.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I will regret not furthering my education. I want to be a part of something big. Something that makes a difference in many lives. Learning new skills and development of my mind will help me accomplish these goals.
