Hi Gabana, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
In my case I’ll say purpose found me and I obeyed .Growing up I’ve always like to try things until I found myself loving music in an inseparable way that resonates with my soul. It’s actually hard to explain this in words because it’s all in the knowing , knowing in the sense that you feel it from within once you find your purpose and this could be anything but one thing is certain when you’re aligned with your purpose you just know inside your soul even with the doubts and questions that comes with it , still makes it clearer in every moment .

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a music producer , songwriter and artist. I’m going to keep it short by saying being a creative is unending experience because growth and learning never stops at every given moment or stage in my journey as a musician. I’ve been at it since from a very young age of 12 years and it has been a rollercoaster of experiences and it just gets better . I released my first indie Ep September last year produced , engineered and wrote all of the songs and I have also put out new songs this year . I’ve been involved in few projects collaborating with music brands and companies like Landr based in Canada and also participated in a worldwide project called music in space amongst a few . I’m very open and ready to work in the creative industry of music and art

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Pure determination and love for my craft has made me have so much flexibility in making music . I’ve learnt how to produce, engineer and write my songs and even do this for other artists. So my advice to anyone is never stop learning never stop believing never stop creating

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
For me I’ll say the number one obstacle over here is funding because they’re no basic financial aid like credit companies in Africa so we basically we have to find our way around financing our projects , or getting studio equipments or even for song promotion . Resolving this personally I’ve been working with other artists and I charge fees and get royalties for my input also I ventured into other passive investments to generate income.
