An Inspired Chat with VITA X of Detroit , Midtown

Hi VITA, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
There is something I’ve actually been keeping tucked away from the general public for a while as I was in a place of development. Most people know me as the celebrity designer & Stylist for HOUSEOFLADON etc . however, I’ve been revamping/ reinventing my personal brand .
With that said, as of today I am ready to share exactly what that is , which i am really proud of . Her name is VITA X . My female alter ego .
Some would consider it DRAG however I am not someone that can easily be placed in a box I don’t like labels . She’s my free spirit and I’m really proud of how far Ive grown in this persona!
There’s so much in store coming from that very special part of me . This article is actually VITA’s ‘coming out’ celebration She’s definitely here to stay .

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I Am VITA X ! Originally Born in Los Angeles California and raised in Detroit Michigan. Award winning Celebrity Designer & Stylist yes, however I am now gearing up to release my very first mini collection of stainless matte lipsticks & glosses called ‘DONT TELL’ which is inspired by my own life and my love for makeup. More specifically ,my love for lipsticks in general

‘Don’t Tell’ is also inspired by my 5yr long relationship. My boyfriend doesn’t care much for lipstick that smears or stains his face when I go to kiss him on the cheek and I’d had enough of wiping it off! So I began developing a lipstick that is functional in any occasion, a lipstick that dries in seconds and doesn’t stain even if wet! What’s interesting is that this collection is going to be for both men & women. 20 different shades & tints to choose from . 2026 is going to be a great year.

Beauty & fashion both go hand in hand so it isn’t so far fetched for me to eventually venture into the cosmetics industry.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Great question! As I’ve stated earlier I’m known for being ‘Paris’ from HOUSEOFLADON. A celebrity fashion brand I’ve spent most of my adult life building. But then there came a time where i just wanted to do something completely different, something new and refreshing and a bit daring because even after all I’ve accomplished and the success, I was still unsatisfied. I was so used to walking a fine line trying to appease those around me even those who I deemed influential to my life which I later realized was in fact a behavior that was holding me back from reaching my fullest potential.

I started researching and playing around with the idea of transitioning into the person I feel I’m meant to be today ,VITA X! Believe it or not but this is 6 years in the making, A lot of time , money and energy has gone into perfecting even my image and building up this persona enough to eventually present myself as a brand .

I’ve always been a risk taker and I never really cared what others had to say about me however , i did have some reservations because of where I was in life at that time but I had to remember that this is my story to tell and my brand, so one day I just decided to stop holding myself hostage in the minds of others and begin living my truth.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self that in this life you may not always be understood and that’s ok . Still stay true to who you are , love yourself harder because one day you are going to be someone who’s life and drive inspires a generation of people who would’ve probably never went after their dreams. but because of your uniqueness and because of your extremely BOLD journey others are easily inspired and Influenced to go after their own dreams and desires. You’re a gift to this world! Your third eye will guide you so fear not !

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
This version of myself which is now public is definitely who I am and who I’ve always felt hiding inside! I was never scared to show the public this part of me however timing is everything. It had to feel right in my heart before becoming 100% visible to the public. This is me , I AM VITA X !

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I’m sure most people will mistake this for an identity crisis which is far from the case . If i were a mainstream celebrity they’d call it rebranding so I’d like to be looked at as such! A celebrity rebranding for the sake of my brand.
