Lolly , so glad you were able to set aside some time for us today. We’ve always admired not just your journey and success, but also the seemingly high levels of self-discipline that you seem to have mastered and so maybe we can start by chatting about how you developed it or where it comes from?

My self discipline comes from me taking control over my life. How I live it? How I view it? How am able to attract and manifest everything I deserve and want!

Hey readers! I’m a fashion designer from Memphis, TN born in raised. I have been designing for 4 years now consistently. My brand name is Asé Monea. A wear for men and women. What’s exciting about designing? Seeing people wear my clothes, but not just as clothes but as art. The body is a unique form of art and the garments make the body stand out.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Learning new creative skills to sew. Attracting a team for marketing, and collaboration. Finding a company to expand your product.

Build a brand based on who you see wearing your art. What customers would you like to attract and serve?
Collaborate with people who has the same attraction as you, such as building a brand, attracting the same customers and mindset.
Find a company or seamstress who will design your products at an affordable price. Making everything yourself is very time consuming. Remember use 10 of self not 100 percent.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

By enjoying every win I’ve accomplished! Also enjoying my kids and those who love us, and giving others a chance to accomplish their goals.
