We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Norah Shazad. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Norah below.
Norah, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I think I found purpose through A3 Central by realizing that creativity could be more than just expression, it could be impact. What started as a way for me to share poetry and design from the heart slowly turned into a space that connects people, uplifts stories, and builds community. Over time, I began to see that purpose isn’t something you stumble upon once, it’s something you grow into through intention and service. A3 Central became that bridge for me, between my love for art, my faith, and the idea that what we create can genuinely bring light into someone’s life.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
A3 Central started as a home for my poetry, a place where I could pour emotions, faith, and reflection into words that felt alive. Over time, it’s grown into more than just a creative outlet; it’s become a brand rooted in meaning, connection, and purpose. Through A3 Central, I’ve been able to merge art, storytelling, and spirituality in a way that inspires others to slow down and feel again.
One of the projects closest to my heart is Spoken Soul, a monthly poetry event series that gives poets and creatives a space to share their voice in a soulful, grounded environment. It’s not just an open mic, t’s a gathering built on healing, honesty, and faith. Seeing people connect through poetry the way I once did reminds me exactly why I started: to turn pain and growth into something beautiful and communal.
What excites me most is how A3 Central continues to evolve, from creative direction and brand design to community events that bring people together through art. I believe words have the power to move hearts and spark change, and my focus has always been to create spaces, both digital and in person, where that kind of transformation can happen.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three qualities that shaped my journey most were consistency, emotional awareness, and creativity.
Consistency taught me that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Whether it’s writing poetry, building A3 Central, or organizing Spoken Soul, showing up even when inspiration fades is what keeps the vision alive.
Emotional awareness allowed me to write and create from a place of honesty. I learned that understanding your emotions helps you connect more deeply with others, especially through art.
Creativity has always been the heartbeat of my work. It’s not just about designing or writing beautifully, but about finding meaning in the process and letting it evolve into something impactful.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is to be patient with your journey. Learn to listen to yourself, stay consistent even when results are slow, and let your creativity guide you rather than your fear of failure. Growth comes quietly, but it always comes when your purpose is sincere.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
If I only had a decade left, I’d spend it creating meaning in every way I could. I’d write more poetry, not just to be read, but to be felt. I’d keep building A3 Central and Spoken Soul into spaces that outlive me, places where people can find connection, healing, and faith through art.
I’d travel with intention, spend time with the people who make my heart feel full, and give back to my community in ways that truly matter. I’d want to leave behind words, projects, and memories that remind others to live with sincerity, to love deeply, and to keep faith at the center of everything.
More than anything, I’d want that decade to be filled with light, the kind that keeps shining even after I’m gone.
