Meet Regina Powers

We recently connected with Regina Powers and have shared our conversation below.

Regina, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I think I knew from a young age my soul purpose was in some way to assist others. Over time my capacity grew I learned it was about staying connected to myself, allowed my spirit to strength, discover less is more and being a catalyst for change occurs the more true I am in form. My nature was always drawn to nature it fed me on a very deep level, the deeper my connection my interior allowed more of my spirit into form. I knew by holding true to myself, I could witness others to drop deeper into themselves, allowing the illusions of what is not them could release as they gained more of their true self. My purpose to assist others in navigating this Earth school has been an honor and a pleasure to be part of another journey.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Energy has always fascinated me, from the minute I was witnessed a Chinese Medicine practitioner cut into the energy field of a person, I knew that was gift I was called to understand. That was in 1993, and I never looked back. After losing someone I was with for 10 years, I was gifted a session with a healer. This was a pivotal moment in how I saw and worked with people. The training at Barbara Brennan a 4-year energy medicine training was not long after and my career in energy medicine was underway.

In 2017 I lost everything in the NorCa fires, and just prior to that I held me first 3 day retreat on the land where I dwelled. It looked out to the Mayacamas mountain range with amazing medicine our dear Earth shared with us all. That fire was a catalyst for me, as a book came through me. I share cases and my own journey through the lens of the 5-Elements of TCM. The book demonstrates how we can all work with the Elements as medicine, if we slow down enough to take them in. “What Color is Your Medicine?- Enter your heart through the 5-Elements of Chinese medicine.”

I have continued to study energetics, always discovering ways to get to the root cause of a souls imbalance. My practice has shifted and changed, as have I. In holding the space of the highest good of others, I am holding myself in that regard. Asking the soul be taken to the place they are ready to shift and change.

I lived in Northern California for many years and now reside in Santa Barbara, CA. I work both remotely and in person. My in-person practice is located in Santa Barbara, Ojai and every other month in Sonoma, CA.

The Earth and all the Elements have been calling me back to reconnect others to their healing frequencies. I am feeling my next retreat will be coming soon! If you would like to have me join you in discovering more of yourself and the medicine of the land in which you dwell, I would be honored to work with you.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Anyone starting out or feeling stuck in someone way- here are my 3 go to nuggets!

1-Breathwork was one of the most profound shifts I saw within my body. I did 2- 3 week trainings with 2 breath sessions a day. It opened my system up in places I had no idea I had contained. If our breath is our spirit, the pure Qi from the heavens – I believe that in order to fully embody our spirit into form, we must allow our breath to open, connect, and freely flow to all parts of us.
~The way of life is to flow with the current and remember to keep breathing, no matter where it takes you.~

2-In was in honoring the body as a temple I began to see the imbalances as lessons in how to truly honor and nourish oneself. Let’s begin with the physical nutrients we take in which then come through our digestive system which directly affects the mental-emotional body. If you then begin to open up to the natural world as medicine as a direct reflection to assist in guiding us into our internal and external terrain. This is a beautiful way to honor our bodies as a temple that we can begin to worship daily and brings us more connected to our spirit in form. The body is our direct messaging system, and the most an amazing teacher!
“It has become apparent that our truest nature to fully connect, heal and grow is to be mirrored by something that reflects our full essence. I believe the natural world is that ideal mirror.”
—Regina Powers

3-Everything is Energy! Albert Einstein said it best, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it.. Match the frequency of the energy you want and you cannot help but get that reality.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

I have always seen entire families throughout my career, first in Western medicine in Family practice and now energetically.

When the parents shift the children usually follow suite as the foundation of a family takes root that are strong, they build the family unit from fertile ground, when they are all connected.

The clients that most align with myself and my practice are usually looking to resolve the source of their issue- I am always amazed by the strength and courage people have in order to face their fears. Being a witness when they release the weight of the struggle makes this the most rewarding work!

Whether young, old, physical, or emotional and or repetitive patterns, beliefs or behaviors, all are welcome.
