We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful ABI O. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with ABI below.
ABI, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
I keep my creativity alive by looking at the world as a collection of natural designs. Every shape, color, and pattern tells a story — I just listen. When something catches my eye, I capture it and later bring it to life through sketching, turning it into a wearable piece of art. I try to stay outside the box, creating what others might overlook or never imagine. My inspiration comes from the unseen — the details most people pass by without a second glance.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a fashion designer and the creative behind NARINNUGO, a suit line built to redefine what power looks like for women. My designs are bold, sleek, and intentional — crafted for women who know their worth and aren’t afraid to show it. NARINNUGO isn’t your typical suit brand; it’s about merging femininity and strength in a way that feels both luxurious and fearless.
What I love most about what I do is creative freedom. I capture the world and translate it into fabric, form, and movement. It’s about turning everyday inspiration into wearable art.
This month, we’re celebrating Octoberfest with a 50% off promotion on our six signature looks, which is the perfect time for new supporters to experience the brand. And for those already familiar with NARINNUGO, there’s more to look forward to — I have another fashion show in the works for 2026, and let’s just say it’s going to be bigger, bolder, and even more unapologetically NARINNUGO.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Honestly, I’d say creativity, initiative, and uniqueness have been the biggest driving forces for me. Creativity keeps me inspired — it’s how I translate what I see in the world into something wearable and meaningful. Initiative is that inner push to get things done, even when no one’s watching or cheering you on. And uniqueness… that’s my favorite one. It’s what makes my work mine. I never want to blend in — I want every piece, every design, to speak to individuality.
For anyone just starting out, my advice would be to always go for what you want, even if other people don’t get it. Not everyone will understand your vision — and that’s fine. You’re the one building it, not them. Don’t wait for approval to chase your ideas. The second you stop seeking validation and start trusting your instincts, that’s when your real creativity kicks in.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who isn’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone — someone who’s willing to take clothing risks and try something new. I love working with people who are open-minded when it comes to fashion, who see clothing as an expression rather than just a necessity. The perfect client for me is bold enough to wear what others might hesitate to, and confident enough to make it their own. They trust the process, they trust the vision, and they’re open to discovering a new version of themselves through style.
