Meet Tracy Slepcevic

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tracy Slepcevic. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tracy, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose the moment I realized my son needed me to become his voice, his advocate, and his healer. When Noah was diagnosed with autism, I was told to accept limitations and lower my expectations, but that never sat right with me. Instead, I turned my pain into purpose. I dove into research, education, and advocacy, determined to uncover the root causes of his challenges and help him reach his full potential.
That journey completely transformed me. It led me to research Complementary and Alternative Medicine, write Warrior Mom: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Her Son with Autism, and ultimately found Autism Health Inc. and the Autism Health Summit. What began as a mission to help one child evolved into a calling to help thousands of families.
My purpose was born out of love, perseverance, and faith. It’s not something I went searching for; it revealed itself through the hardest chapters of my life. And today, I’m grateful every day that those struggles became the foundation of something far greater than myself.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Professionally, my work is centered around creating inspiration, healing, and connection within the autism community. I’m the Founder and President of Autism Health Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research and improving the quality of life for individuals with autism and related neurological conditions. We provide research, education, family resources, and advocacy while bridging the gap between science, integrative health, and community support.

One of the most exciting projects I’ve launched through the nonprofit is the Autism Health Summit, which debuted in 2024 and will return in April 2026 at the Legacy Center Resort & Spa in San Diego. The Summit brings together leading doctors, scientists, practitioners, and parents from around the world to share groundbreaking research, innovative therapies, and empowering stories. It’s more than just a conference; it’s a movement that unites people who believe in real, evidence-based progress and holistic healing.

Beyond that, I’m the author of Warrior Mom: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Her Son with Autism, a certified Integrative Health Practitioner, and a passionate advocate for family empowerment. I also founded Pur Health LLC, where I continue to educate and guide families on personalized, integrative health strategies.

What’s most exciting to me is seeing the impact. Families come to our events feeling lost, and they leave with knowledge, connection, and hope. That transformation is what drives me every single day.

Looking ahead, Autism Health Inc. is expanding its reach with new monthly educational webinars, community fundraising events, and a growing network of professionals who share our vision. We’re also developing research partnerships and scholarship programs to help families access care that was once out of reach.

Ultimately, everything I do… whether it’s through Autism Health, the Summit, or my writing is driven by the same mission: to empower families, advance research, and inspire change that lasts for generations.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are perseverance, faith, and discernment.

Perseverance has been my greatest teacher. There were countless moments when I could have given up, when the financial strain felt unbearable, when I was dismissed by professionals, or when progress seemed out of reach. But I learned that real change takes time and unwavering commitment. For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to stay the course. The road may be hard, but persistence always pays off when it’s driven by purpose.

Faith has carried me through every storm. It’s what gave me strength when logic failed and what reminded me that I was never walking this path alone. Whether it’s faith in God, in yourself, or in the process, hold on to it tightly. It will ground you when everything else feels uncertain.

And finally, discernment… learning to trust my intuition and separate truth from noise. In a world full of opinions and conflicting information, discernment is key. I encourage others to ask questions, do their own research, and trust that quiet inner voice that so often knows the right path, which I truly believe is God’s way of speaking to us.

Together, these three qualities have shaped not just my work, but who I am. For those starting out, nurture these traits daily because success isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence, faith, and clarity of purpose.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

If I knew I only had a decade left to live, I would spend every moment in service to others. My greatest fulfillment has always come from helping families find hope, healing, and purpose, especially those who feel unseen or unheard. I would dedicate that time to expanding the reach of Autism Health Inc., ensuring that more families have access to education, research, and resources that can truly change lives.

I would continue building communities where parents can come together, share their stories, and realize they’re not alone. I would mentor the next generation of advocates, empowering them to lead with compassion and courage. And I would keep organizing events like the Autism Health Summit, not just to inform, but to inspire transformation on a global scale.

On a personal level, I’d spend that decade pouring love into my family, traveling with my husband, and watching my son continue to thrive. But at the heart of it all, I’d remain focused on service, leaving behind something that inspires others long after I’m gone. Because to me, a life lived in service is a life well lived.
