We were lucky to catch up with Avrey Gabriell recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Avrey, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I get my resilience from the moments that tried to break me — the births that stretched me beyond my body, the heartbreaks that stretched me beyond my heart, and the seasons of single motherhood that taught me what strength really looks like.
Resilience didn’t come from never falling apart; it came from learning how to rise softer each time I did. It’s rooted in my children, who remind me daily that love is worth showing up for, and in my work — guiding women through birth, movement, and healing — which mirrors my own rebirth.
I’ve learned that my resilience isn’t armor; it’s faith. It’s the quiet voice that says, “Keep going,” even when the path isn’t clear. It’s knowing that everything I’ve walked through was preparing me to help others walk home to themselves.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My work is rooted in spirituality, movement, and the sacred cycles of womanhood. Through my brand, Womb Earth & Beyond, I guide women back to themselves — through birth, dance, yoga, energy healing, and the remembrance that the body is both temple and teacher.
Every offering I create — from Strut & Heal, my sensual dance-based healing class, to Soul Flow, my meditative yoga experience — is designed to awaken the feminine spirit, reconnect women with their intuition, and bring the divine back into the everyday. My background as a doula, energy healer, and recreational therapist has allowed me to bridge the physical and spiritual worlds, helping women find strength in softness and power in presence.
My story has been one of transformation — from navigating divorce and single motherhood to rebuilding my life and business with intention. I’ve learned that spirituality isn’t an escape from life; it’s how I move through it.
Currently, I’m expanding Womb Earth & Beyond through community-based healing events, full moon rituals, and collaborative offerings that blend movement, mindfulness, and metaphysical education. Each project is infused with the belief that healing can be beautiful — and that when women rise, the world softens. 🌙✨
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are intuition, adaptability, and compassion.
Intuition taught me to lead from alignment rather than expectation. Whether it’s guiding a mother through birth, leading a yoga class, or navigating my own transitions, intuition reminds me that there’s a rhythm beyond logic — a divine timing to trust.
Adaptability has carried me through every reinvention — from leaving a marriage and starting over as a single mom, to evolving my business into something that mirrors who I’ve become. Life will always shift, and resilience grows when we allow ourselves to shift with it.
Compassion has been the most transformative. It softened the edges of my healing, allowed me to forgive, and became the foundation of how I serve others.
For anyone at the beginning of their journey, my advice is this: slow down enough to hear your inner voice, remain flexible when the universe redirects you, and choose compassion — especially when it’s hardest. Those three practices will carry you further than any strategy ever could.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
Right now, my biggest challenge is balancing expansion with presence — continuing to grow my business, my offerings, and my purpose while also remaining fully grounded in motherhood and my own healing. I’ve built a life that holds many callings: as a mother, a doula, a healer, a teacher, and a woman who is still learning herself.
At times, I feel stretched between worlds — the need to nurture others and the need to nurture myself. I’ve learned that my solution isn’t to “do more,” but to create sacred space for stillness, boundaries, and prayer. I remind myself that alignment is more powerful than hustle, and that divine timing can’t be rushed.
I’m overcoming this challenge by honoring my cycles — resting when my body calls for it, saying no when my energy feels scattered, and trusting that when I take care of myself first, everything else flows from a place of abundance instead of depletion
