Meet Adriana Harriel

We recently connected with Adriana Harriel and have shared our conversation below.

Adriana , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose through a combination of faith, experience, and perseverance. As a single mother, life taught me strength, resilience, and the power of grace. Working with children and adults with mental health and developmental disabilities gave me a deeper understanding of compassion and the importance of seeing the beauty in every person’s journey. Through those experiences, I realized that my purpose wasn’t just about helping others, it was about empowering them to see their worth, discover their gifts, and walk boldly in who God created them to be.
My love for God guided me every step of the way. Even in my toughest seasons, I felt His hand reminding me that everything I’ve been through was preparing me for something greater. That’s when it clicked, my purpose is to serve, uplift, and create spaces where others can heal, grow, and believe in themselves again. I also discovered that I have a special calling to work with young girls, to pour into them the same encouragement, faith, and confidence I once needed myself. Helping them build self-love, character, and purpose has become one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Professionally, I am the founder and visionary behind Toodies Girls Academy Inc., a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls ages 7–18 through fashion, faith, mentorship, and self-development. Our mission is to help girls embrace their individuality, build confidence, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose. We focus on self-love, unity, character building, and community outreach, creating a safe space where every girl feels seen, valued, and inspired.
What excites me most about this work is watching transformation happen in real time. Seeing a shy young girl grow into a confident leader, or hearing a teen talk about her dreams that’s what fuels me. We officially launched September 20th and every event, workshop, and conversation is designed to plant seeds of confidence and purpose that will blossom for years to come.
I’m also the CEO of Toodies Cuties, our girls’ clothing line that promotes age-appropriate, stylish, and confidence-boosting fashion for young girls. This year has been especially exciting as we expanded Toodies Cuties and is participating in our very first fashion show, where I had the opportunity to showcase my gift and talent through fashion and creativity.
Toodies Girls Academy isn’t just an organization, it’s a movement of restoration, sisterhood, and purpose. My goal is to continue building something that impacts generations, reminding every young girl that she is chosen, loved, and capable of greatness.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My faith has been the foundation of everything I do. It’s what keeps me grounded when challenges arise and reminds me that purpose often grows out of pain. My advice to others is to keep God at the center of your vision, when you trust Him, He’ll give you clarity and direction even when the path feels uncertain.
Perseverance has also played a huge role. Building something meaningful takes time, sacrifice, and patience. There were moments when I wanted to give up, but staying consistent and believing in my “why” made all the difference. I encourage anyone starting out to keep pushing, even when progress feels slow. Every small step counts.
And finally, compassion for others and for yourself. Working with children and families taught me that real impact starts with empathy and love. When you lead with compassion, you not only connect with people, but you also create lasting change.
Develop these qualities daily through prayer, self-reflection, and surrounding yourself with people who inspire growth. Your purpose will always meet you where your passion and perseverance align.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The book that has had the greatest impact on my life is the Bible. It’s been my guide, my comfort, and my reminder of who I am and what I’m called to do. Through every season—whether I was struggling as a single mother, finding my purpose, or building Toodies Girls Academy—the Word of God has been my foundation.
One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned is that faith without works is dead. It taught me that prayer is powerful, but action is necessary. I also hold onto the truth that all things work together for good even the difficult moments have a purpose in shaping who we’re meant to become.
The Bible continually reminds me to lead with love, serve with humility, and trust God’s timing. Those principles guide everything I do, from mentoring young girls to creating spaces where they can grow, dream, and discover their purpose.
