Meet Regina Rimando

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Regina Rimando. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Regina, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
For me, finding my purpose wasn’t something that happened all at once – it was revealed step by step, through faith and perseverance. There were seasons in my life when everything felt uncertain. I had invested more than I earned, given more than I received, and still, something inside me kept saying, keep going. I realized that voice was God guiding me.

My purpose became clear the more I listened. Through my work – whether designing spaces or creating event experiences – I began to see how beauty could heal, inspire, and connect people. It wasn’t just about décor or design; it was about bringing light into people’s lives. That’s why I named my brand Elior, which means “My God is my Light.”

Over time, I understood that every challenge I faced was shaping me for this mission to bring grace, creativity, and faith into everything I do. My purpose is to use my gifts to serve others, reflect God’s light, and show that no matter how difficult the journey gets, there is always meaning in the process.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m the founder of Elior Events by Exclusive Creations, a design studio specializing in event décor, creative direction, and sculptural installations that bring beauty and purpose together. What makes Elior unique is that every design starts with intention , I believe light and creativity can transform not just a space, but the spirit of an event. My goal is to create experiences that feel meaningful, elegant, and filled with heart.

I’ve spent years building this brand with faith as my foundation, turning challenges into opportunities to serve others through creativity. From intimate vow renewals to large-scale showcases, every event tells a story – one that reflects love, resilience, and grace.

Right now, I’m excited to be expanding Elior’s sculptural backdrop collection and preparing for major showcases at The Westin Lake Mary and the Florida Bridal & Wedding Expo. These events are opportunities to share my work with a broader audience and continue shining light one celebration at a time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Faith has been my foundation. It’s what gives me peace in uncertainty and strength when I can’t see the outcome. I’ve learned that trusting God’s timing opens doors that no amount of effort alone could.

Perseverance keeps me moving even when things don’t go as planned. In business, there are seasons when you invest more than you receive, but staying consistent — showing up, working hard, believing in your purpose always leads to growth.

Creativity is my gift and my voice. It’s how I express who I am and how I connect with others. I’ve learned that creativity flourishes when you stay curious, humble, and willing to learn from every experience.

For anyone just starting, I’d say this: build your faith, stay the course, and let your creativity flow from a place of purpose. Success comes when your work reflects not just what you do, but who you are.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
The person who has been most helpful in my journey is God. I’ve learned that every challenge, every delay, and every breakthrough had a purpose , even when I couldn’t see it at the time. My strength, creativity, and perseverance all come from His guidance.

I’ve also been blessed with a loving family and a husband who believe in me and stand by me through every season. Their encouragement gives me courage to keep moving forward when things get difficult. But truly, my biggest teacher has been faith itself. It taught me to trust when things didn’t make sense, to move forward even when I was tired, and to create beauty in the middle of uncertainty.

Everything I’ve built , from my designs to my business is a reflection of that partnership with God and the people He’s placed in my life to walk beside me. That’s where my success begins and continues.
