Meet Parth Patel

We recently connected with Parth Patel and have shared our conversation below.

Parth, so happy to have you with us today. You are such a creative person, but have you ever had any sort of creativity block along the way? If so, can you talk to us about how you overcame or beat it?
When it came to writing my book Welcome to the Business World, the journey actually began in one of the most unexpected ways — through a random dream I had toward the end of October 2024. I vividly remember being in what felt like a movie. The setting was in a business environment, and all of a sudden, the tone shifted into something intense and dramatic — there was betrayal, backstabbing, and a feeling of tension that stuck with me even after I woke up. I remember telling my team leader at my job, Joann Lewis, about it the next day, and I said something along the lines of, “I feel like it would be cool to turn this into a book.” That moment really sparked the idea, and from there, the concept behind the book began to form.

After that initial spark of inspiration, I told myself to just start writing — no overthinking, no waiting for the “perfect moment.” I began jotting down ideas on what I wanted to discuss in the book. I knew from the start that I wanted it to be more than just a story — I wanted it to be filled with real experiences and honest advice that could speak to anyone, especially college students who might be navigating similar challenges. Even when I wasn’t sure how it would all come together, I focused on getting my thoughts on paper and letting the ideas take shape naturally.

One of the biggest things that helped me overcome creative blocks was reminding myself to simply enjoy the process. I didn’t want writing this book to feel like a chore. I wanted it to feel personal, enjoyable, and meaningful. So I made sure to have fun with it — adding references to video games, anime, movies, and business inspirations that had influenced my life. At the same time, I also allowed myself to take breaks when I needed to. Rest is important, especially when your mind feels stuck. Giving myself that time to recharge helped me come back stronger with clearer direction and new ideas.

Lastly, what truly helped me push through any writer’s block was reminding myself of how creative I already was — especially when it came to graphic design. Making posters and working on visuals has always been another way I express myself creatively. It reminded me that I love storytelling, whether it’s through a powerful piece of writing or even a funny or visually interesting design. That mindset gave me a sense of confidence, and it reminded me that the ability to create was always there — I just had to tap back into it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Parth Patel. I’m a gaming content creator, poster designer, and self-published author who recently published my first-ever book earlier this year, titled Welcome to the Business World, now available on Amazon. I was born and raised in Stuart, Florida, and my family is originally from India. What I’m most excited to share is the creative journey that has shaped who I am today. I’ve been on YouTube since I was only 12 years old, starting back in November of 2012. Over the years, I’ve had three older channels, but the one I currently use was created in August 2014, and I still upload gaming videos there to this day. In addition to YouTube, I began streaming on Twitch in 2021, where I continue to connect with my audience and share my love for gaming in real time. I finished my Bachelor’s in Organizational Management along with two other associates!

In 2020, I discovered a new passion for graphic design and started creating posters as a creative outlet. That passion eventually grew into a small business where I sold my own merchandise from March 25th, 2021, until 2024. Even now, I still enjoy expressing my creativity through designing fun, visually striking posters, as well as exploring photography whenever I can. Every creative project I work on — whether it’s a poster, a gaming video, or a story — reminds me how much I love bringing imagination to life and connecting with others through creativity.

Writing my first book, Welcome to the Business World, was such a fun and meaningful experience. I truly enjoyed being able to share my personal stories, lessons, and experiences in a way that could inspire others. The process taught me so much about patience, growth, and creativity, and it’s something I’ll always be proud of.

And if you’re reading this — surprise! I’m currently working on another book, this time in the horror genre. It’s still in the works, but I’m really excited to announce more details soon. I can’t wait to share another side of my storytelling journey with everyone.

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far I’ve come from that 12-year-old kid uploading gaming videos for fun. Every step — from YouTube, Twitch, and poster design to publishing my first book — has been a reminder that creativity can take you anywhere if you keep pushing forward. I’m grateful for every experience that’s shaped me, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, I would say the three most impactful qualities that shaped my journey are Consistency, Creativity, and Confidence. Each of these played a major role in helping me grow not only as a content creator and designer but also as a person who continues to learn and evolve every day.

Consistency has always been one of my biggest priorities. I made sure to stay consistent when it came to improving my artwork, whether it was creating posters, refining my editing style, or putting in the effort to make my YouTube videos more enjoyable. The same goes for my Twitch streams — I always try my best to put out fun and entertaining gaming content for my audience. Staying consistent wasn’t always easy, especially when balancing school, work, and other responsibilities, but I learned that progress comes from showing up even on the days when motivation isn’t there. My advice to anyone starting their journey is this: stay consistent with your craft. Improvement doesn’t happen overnight, but small steps every day add up to something greater than you can imagine.

Creativity is another trait that has been a huge part of who I am. I’ve always considered myself a creative person because of how much I enjoy expressing myself through different outlets — from YouTube and Twitch to designing posters and writing. Creativity is something that connects all of these passions together. When I was working on my first book, Welcome to the Business World, I had so much fun writing and coming up with ways to make each chapter feel meaningful and personal. I think creativity thrives when you allow yourself to enjoy the process instead of overthinking it. My advice for others is to never hold back on your ideas — even the smallest, silliest ones could turn into something amazing if you give them a chance.

Lastly, Confidence is something that I believe everyone struggles with at some point, including me. In Chapter 3 of my book, “Practice Builds Confidence,” I talk about how to build confidence and share some personal stories along with advice that helped me. To be honest, sometimes all it takes is having a study buddy or someone who’s willing to help you practice and grow. It’s important to keep learning as you go because we all make mistakes — but that’s part of the process. Things happen, and you just have to keep going. Another key point I mention in that chapter is the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people — those who inspire you, support you, and push you to be your best self. Confidence grows when you have a strong environment that lifts you up instead of holding you back.

Each of these qualities — consistency, creativity, and confidence — continues to shape everything I do. They’ve helped me stay grounded, motivated, and inspired, and I believe anyone starting their own journey can develop these skills by being patient, persistent, and open to learning along the way.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
In Chapter 8 of my book, “Echoes of Emotion,” I talked about how it truly hurts to lose loved ones—especially close friends who have passed away. It’s one of the hardest things to go through, and it’s something that never really gets easier. If there’s one thing my dad always taught me, especially during times when I feel overwhelmed, it’s to make sure I give myself proper rest whenever I start feeling tension or stress building up. He always reminded me that rest isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s a way to recharge both your mind and your heart.

My dad will forever be more than just my father; he was also my best friend. Losing him in January of 2025 was devastating and changed me in ways I never expected. But his lessons still guide me every single day, especially when life feels heavy or overwhelming.

Another thing I mentioned in Chapter 8 of my book is how I find ways to distract myself in healthy ways—like playing video games or watching something to clear my mind. Sometimes, those little escapes are what help you reset and regain your balance. And as I also wrote in that chapter, sometimes real strength comes in silence. It’s about allowing yourself to process emotions quietly, without forcing yourself to always have everything figured out.

At the end of the day, feeling overwhelmed is a part of life. What matters most is learning how to care for yourself through it—whether that means resting, finding comfort in the things you love, or embracing moments of silence to reflect and heal.
