Meet Sonja Hill

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sonja Hill a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Sonja, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose in people, as long as there are people in this world I feel there is a “Service” that we can all provide.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’ve started working with the WhiteRock Foundation here in Dallas and it’s been very rewarding. Being able to meet people from all walks of lives and sharing their experiences with me over some really good food is the greatest feeling. Food will always bring people together.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on things, two qualities that has been most impactful has been learning to have a great relationship with people, and some sort of basic knowledge of FOOD AND BEVERAGE. Some advice I’d give someone is to never give up on the thing you dream of doing every day. Keep pressing forward.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Traveling the world and trying new foods!
