Meet Jordan Burningham

We recently connected with Jordan Burningham and have shared our conversation below.

Jordan , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I definitely think my dad showed me how to work hard and work for other benefit.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

At Diamond Detox, what I do is all about helping people, saving lives, and making the community and the world safer for our families. I’ve always been driven by the idea of making a real impact, and through my work, I get to see that impact every day. “Our mission is to create a lasting positive impact on individuals, families, and the community as a whole,” and that’s not just words—it’s the core of everything we do.

What I find most exciting and special about my work is seeing people reclaim their lives. Providing a safe and medically supervised environment for those struggling with substance dependency is just the start. Beyond that, we help repair relationships, strengthen family structures, and support reintegration into society through resources like mental health support, job training, and housing assistance.

I’m also really passionate about the broader impact we create. Through advocacy and educational programs, we raise awareness about substance abuse, shift perspectives from stigma to support, and help prevent future cases. I love that our work doesn’t just change individual lives—it creates healthier, safer communities.

For me, this is more than a business—it’s personal. I wanted to find purpose in the pain I experienced through my own struggles with addiction and turn that into something meaningful. Every day, I get to live out my passion, guide people toward recovery, and watch the transformation that follows. “People Helping People” isn’t just our mission statement—it’s what fuels me, drives our brand, and defines the work we do at Diamond Detox.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been vision, resilience, and putting people first. From the start, having a clear vision and unwavering commitment to the mission of “People Helping People” guided every decision I made, from branding to customer experience to long-term strategy. Resilience has been crucial because success isn’t a straight path—it comes with challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt, and staying focused, learning from failures, and continuously pushing forward has made all the difference. Finally, putting people first—whether it’s customers, employees, or partners—has allowed me to build genuine relationships and deliver real value, and that naturally leads to success.

For folks early in their journey, my advice is to clarify your purpose and mission, stay committed, and focus on meaningful relationships. Don’t shy away from setbacks—the fear of failure often holds people back more than failure itself, so take smart, calculated risks and learn from mistakes. And remember, success comes when your actions align with your values, and when you prioritize impact and connection over just achievements.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

My ideal client is someone who’s ready to take that first crucial step, willing to put in the work, and open to guidance. At Diamond Detox, we provide the tools, support, and safe environment, but real change happens when they bring dedication, resilience, and a desire to reclaim their life.
