Meet Nadia And Lyla Valdovinos

We recently connected with Nadia And Lyla Valdovinos and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia and Lyla , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

We definitely get our work ethic from our parents.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My sister and I are living the rural dream with our flock of feathery friends, some horses, and our lovable dog. It all started back in 2020 when we decided to welcome our very first chickens into the family. Our business started by sharing our farm fresh eggs with folks and In 2024, we decided to spread our creative wings even further. Lyla whipped up a dreamy natural body butter, and Nadia put her heart into a line of punny greeting cards, all inspired by our delightful animals.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Our mom began marketing our products on social media and later started signing us up for local markets in the twin cities and surrounding areas and We definitely learned lessons along the way. Import skills would have to be knowing your product, believing in your product and being able to share your story.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

Our mom and dad have most definitely been our number one supporters on this journey. Being business owners themselves they have given us a lot of advice and several lessons along the way.
