We were lucky to catch up with Jennifer recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jennifer, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
This story is the foundation of my debut book, “Guided By Grace: Follow the Breadcrumbs to Your Life’s True Purpose.” I share how, from a young age, we’re all given a unique purpose and gift to share with the world. However, as we grow and are influenced by others, the noise and beliefs around us can often distract us from our true path. I was deeply involved in supporting my husband’s restaurant/food concept when a panic attack in the middle of the night forced me to pause, reflect, and remember my unique purpose in this lifetime. I had remembered that I loved to perform and speak on stage from a young age, I went to college to study broadcast journalism but when my parents divorced my sophomore year, and financial secruity became my top priority, I abandoned my purpose to pursue fincancial success.. I became a media sales exectxuive and spent almost 15 years chasing the dollar and dismissing the dream.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I just released a book, which became an Amazon Bestseller! I am also a motivational speaker highlighting the topics of reslilience in business, entrepreneurship, authenticity in business and many others. My husband and I run a successful restaurant and food manufacturing business called Locale90 Neapolitan Pizza Market in Los Angeles. In addition to our restaurant location, we create high-quality, authentic neapolitan pizza and products for retailers and entertainment venues.
My podcast, Where Passion Meets Purpose features interviews with sucessful entrepreneurs, thought leaders and motivational community leaders.
I am also a Certified Professional Coach dedicated to helping women break through limitations and rise into their God-given purpose.
I am the co-creator of the THRIVE Movement, a series of empowering events, experiences and content designed to help women thrive in business and life. I am a passionate advocate for mental health, wellness, and food education in underserved communities, she combines coaching, community, and entrepreneurship to help women step fully into the most actualized version of themselves

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I think the ability to connect and listen to others is absolutely key in business and life. Being able to really understand what the needs of others are allows you to not only help them solve problems, but allows for a true win-win philosophy.
Leading by example is another key skill and quality that is imperative in business. You need to show your team that you have done it all, from sweeping the floors and answering the phones, to connecting kindly with customers. Just like our children, people learn from action more than words.
The ability to shine the light on others is one of my greatest skills. I have always belived that lifting others up in business and life and making your team look good is the ultimate example of good leadreship.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am looking to collaborate with more female leaders in the world of entrepreneurship. I believe that as the world evovles an the way we do business in terms of AI changes, the more real connection and collaboration we will need to stay authentic and focused on the best path forward for humanity. While technology and the advancement of AI can accelerate busienss and become more efficent, nothing will ever replace the need for authenticity and human connection, especially when it comes to marketing and engaging our core consumers.
