We were lucky to catch up with Grace Grossmann recently and have shared our conversation below.
Grace, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Confidence is not something you develop, but something you are born with.
As a kindergarten teacher, I see how young children dive into new things with courage and ease.
So when teaching my Qiyoga classes, I reminded my students for one month with our mantra “courage is my natural state” during a time of deep inner work post-break-up. These classes helped me too and led to a breakthrough and a big move across the world to Costa Rica.
My senior students would ask me, “How are you so confident and brave to do such a big move alone?”
Well, I never really thought it was “brave”, because it felt so natural to me. I followed my intuition. I listened and let love lead me.
So, how do I do things that others see as confident?
By *remembering my confidence through mindful moments, movement and breathwork.
I landed my dream job in Costa Rica within 2 months and moved with courage, confidence, and clarity.
So really, how I develop my confidence and self-esteem time and time again is by remembering my worth.
After all, healing is a path of remembering our divine nature.
The essence of confidence is what we were born with, but growing up with conditioning, we end up forgetting who we are.
I developed confidence by embodying my state of worthiness and ridding the state that society intoxicated me with of unworthiness and proving myself.
There is nothing to prove. There is nobody to be. All you need to be is be you, be love, be free, and spread this energy genuinely.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am here as a vessel of truth. I am here to remind you of YOUR TRUTH.
But I am also a human being who has suffered with psychosis, mental health issues, grief, and heartache. I healed myself holistically, and I heal others, too. It is all about aligning with mind, body, and soul to feel whole.
As a writer, poet, yoga teacher, kindergarten teacher, and well-being coach, over the past decade, I have worked with hundreds of people of all ages and the biggest thing everyone is looking for:
MEANING!
But remember that when you live intending to be love and spreading love, then that is the biggest and best meaning we have on this earth.
Returning to your worth with play, laughter, and love is what I remind you to do. Be that inner child of yours more often and more present. Mindful moments make life magic.
Readers of my bestselling self-help book say I write “like a friend”, and it is also one of the best advice I ever got:
treat yourself like a friend.
Within this, you must treat yourself with grace and treat others as you want to be treated. Then you grow in grace and gratitude.
I transmuted my pain into wisdom and have been writing for the past decade, helping people heal themselves by reminding them of their worth.
Now I realise a big key is missing: community.
In the biggest epidemic of our world, loneliness, we need each other now more than ever.
Community is everything and keeps us going. Let us return to our roots. We grow best when we are accountable, together.
Healing Hearts Hub is a safe space for you to grow in gratitude, health, and wealth next to like-minded people.
If you are not in your era of growing with others and still healing alone, then my eJournal and self-help book go hand in hand to help you feel, deal, and heal.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Resilience. This is a quality I have built over the past decade by noticing that every setback is realigning me with my purpose and path. Remembering every challenge serves my greater good. You do this and you notice life is working FOR you, not against you.
Radiance. No matter what, I show up. Even when I do not feel like it, I make an effort because I am grateful to live another day. As a survivor, you remember how blessed every new day is to live again.
Readiness. If not now, then when? One of my life mottos that has always allowed me to live NOW! I embrace my life and do not procrastinate. I dont just talk about dreams, but make them come true by trusting and taking steps there every day in my mind, body, and soul alignment.
Tip: Stop being so hard on yourself and treat yourself with grace. Like seriously, become your own best friend or cheerleader because you gotta love yourself first!!!!!!!!!!

How would you describe your ideal client?
The three qualities I just outlined:
You gotta be ready to really work on yourself and feel the benefits. You must be prepared to want to keep being better every day, and you know your sunshine state is within you, so I am only here to remind you.
When you are aligned, we work together to get you back to daily confidence, clarity, and calm. This is your superpower that will align you with your higher self again and say goodbye to worry, fear, and doubt, for good!
