Airanna , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic is deeply rooted in the values I was taught from a very young age: if you do something, do it at your absolute best potential.
I was fortunate to grow up watching an incredible example set by my parents. I witnessed my father work tirelessly and endlessly to provide for our family, while my mother worked just as hard to manage the home and ensure its stability. Seeing their combined effort and dedication showed me what true commitment looks like.
Now, as a parent myself, I want my children to see that same level of dedication. My goal is to model for them that whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve, but you must always make sure you give your absolute all. This conviction to deliver my best effort in every task is what drives my professional approach today.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As the proud owner of NVMe Creations LLC, I am a professional event decorator and planner specializing in fully customized, bespoke events. My greatest joy is bringing a client’s unique vision to life and transforming a space into a memorable experience. I genuinely love the creative process of decorating and the meticulous planning that ensures a flawless event.
However, my professional mission extends beyond just luxury events. I am currently dedicated to navigating a way to make my high-quality services affordable for everyone who wants to celebrate a milestone. I deeply believe in my heart that everyone deserves to celebrate the significant moments in their lives, regardless of their budget.
Driven by the Desire to Help
This belief in helping people is the core thread that connects all my work. In addition to running my business, I serve as a dedicated Eligibility Enrollment Specialist at Housing Resources. In this role, I provide essential resources and assistance, actively working toward the goal of ending homelessness in our community.
My work in both fields—event planning and social services—is fueled by the same conviction: my calling has always been to help people. Whether I’m creating the perfect, beautiful celebration for a family or connecting an individual with the housing resources they desperately need, I find profound fulfillment in making a tangible, positive impact on people’s lives.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My journey has been fundamentally shaped by three core qualities: ambition, patience, and a clear understanding of who I was serving. This understanding taught me that while I could not please everyone, my duty was always to treat every individual with respect and equality. This perspective brought with it crucial knowledge—the ability to carefully navigate how I respond to situations and the wisdom to know when silence or non-reaction is the most professional choice. Conducting a professional business requires this constant mindfulness, as everyone is indeed watching; whether they are supporters or critics, they are observing and critiquing your every move. Maintaining composure and a consistent, ethical standard is paramount to building and protecting my brand’s reputation.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

When reflecting on the people who have been most instrumental in my success, I immediately turn to my spouse, Shayvione Berry, my parents, Robynne and Rudy, and my entire circle of supporters. Their contributions have been unique but equally vital. My parents, instilled the core work ethic and values I rely on daily, providing the blueprint for commitment. My spouse, has served as an unwavering source of strength and perspective, acting as my anchor during times of intense focus or when I felt overwhelmed. Collectively, they have all been my “extra push” when it was needed the most, consistently offering the encouraging words that helped me overcome challenges, sharpen essential skills, and reinforce the knowledge that I am fully capable of achieving my ambitious goals.
