We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Natalya Lowe. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Natalya below.
Hi Natalya, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I definitely got my work ethic from my mom. She was a single parent who owned her own beauty salon while raising two kids. I watched her balance everything — showing up for every one of our events and still giving her all to her business. Seeing her determination and commitment taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and showing up no matter what
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My love for makeup started at a young age and have now had my own business for 10 years. I grew up surrounded by the creativity, confidence, and connection that beauty can bring. Now, as a makeup artist, I carry that same passion and work ethic into everything I do. Makeup is more than just artistry to me — it’s about empowerment. I love helping people see themselves in a new light, bringing out their natural beauty, and boosting their confidence for any occasion. Every face tells a story, and being part of that transformation is what makes my career so special. With everyday being different, it keeps me on my toes and brings excitement to be a part of peoples special days.
Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The Bible has been a foundation in my life and my career. It’s where I’ve found guidance, strength, and peace through every season — from moments of doubt to moments of triumph. As a makeup artist, I often work closely with people during some of the most special days of their lives, and my faith reminds me to serve with love, humility, and compassion. A few of the most valuable nuggets of wisdom I carry with me: Faith over fear. Serve others wholeheartedly. Grace and gratitude. It’s not just about makeup — it’s about making people feel valued and seen. The Bible constantly reminds me to give myself grace and stay thankful in all circumstances. Gratitude keeps me grounded and joyful, even on the busiest or hardest days.
