Meet Miriam Graham

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Miriam Graham. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Miriam below.

Miriam, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I can’t say I always knew my exact purpose. What I did know from the beginning was that whatever I did, I wanted it to mean something. I wanted to make a real impact—especially on young people. My goal has always been to uplift and encourage others by living and leading with integrity, guided by Christian principles. Over time, that desire to inspire through positivity and faith became the foundation of my purpose.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Thank you for the opportunity to share what I do! I wear many hats as a publicist and brand strategist, and I’m truly grateful for each one. I represent a diverse and talented roster that includes the Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis, fashion house designer Tamil Robinson, celebrity chef Jerome Brown, the 3V3 Collective chefs, house music recording artist Julie McKnight, and my business partner Joe Mason of Never Stop Entertainment. I also work closely with the Memphis Media team, Monee Philips, Darren Catron, and Christopher Jefferson, a dynamic group of creatives who are helping to shape the city’s cultural landscape through content.

What excites me most about my work is being able to connect people, purpose, and opportunity. Every project is different, and I love watching my clients grow and shine in their own lanes. Whether it’s a chef cooking overseas, a designer creating the next apparel, walking a runway, or an artist releasing new music. I’m passionate about helping others fulfill their dreams for their brand. By guiding them and providing the best opportunity without compromising the integrity of the brand.

This season has been nothing short of amazing, truly a blessing from God. He has opened so many doors for our clients and partners: from awards, books, and magazine features to international travel, including the UK tour and Soul Train Cruise, and there is so much more to come. I’m thankful to be part of a journey that continues to evolve and impact lives in such a powerful way.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, everything has been a learning experience. The three things that impacted my journey the most were passion, persistence, and faith. When you discover what you truly love, you have to soak in as much knowledge as you can, from reading, watching YouTube tutorials, learning from mentors, and even putting yourself in uncomfortable situations that help you grow.

This year, I received my honorary doctorate from Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University, which reminded me that growth never stops, and it pushed me to elevate even more. My advice to anyone just starting is: never settle for anything less than great, stay teachable, and always move with purpose because with God’s will, everything will fall into place.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

To be honest, I don’t believe in the idea of an “ideal” client. If every client were ideal, there wouldn’t be room for growth or the challenge that pushes both of us toward success. What matters most to me is a client’s faith walk and their values. Their character and morals must align with integrity and purpose. I pray with my clients and build genuine relationships with them; they truly become like family.
