Meet Larry A Lesley

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Larry A Lesley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Larry A, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

In high school, I hit rock bottom. I was being bullied and dealing with severe depression, and at the time, I was in a vocational design program that was struggling. I honestly thought about quitting. But then we got an assignment to draw a still life, and when I finished it, my classmates and teacher really responded to it. That moment reminded me why I loved creating in the first place — it gave me purpose again. From there, everything started to turn around.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and creative director focused on connecting design, culture, and storytelling. I run Ire Online, a creative agency that helps brands bring their ideas to life — from visuals and campaigns to apparel production. I also direct Saint Pierre, a contemporary menswear label rooted in Midwest culture that blends storytelling, craftsmanship, and fashion with meaning.

What excites me most about my work is seeing ideas evolve — watching something that starts as a sketch or concept turn into a full experience people can wear, share, or feel connected to. I love creating work that feels human and purposeful.

Right now, Ire Online has a major collaboration in the works that I’m really proud of — something that pushes our design approach to a new level. And for Saint Pierre, we’re focused on continuing to grow the brand, refining our collections, and preparing for upcoming launches and showcases.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

For me, the three qualities that have made the biggest impact are consistency, resilience, and determination. Those three have carried me through every phase of my journey — from when I was just starting out to building my own brands today.

My biggest piece of advice is this: you’ll beat most of your competition through consistency alone. It’s not always about being the most talented — it’s about showing up every day, even when you don’t feel like it, and continuing to build. Resilience keeps you grounded when things get tough, and determination gives you the push to keep going when progress feels slow.

If you focus on staying consistent, learning through the losses, and refusing to quit, you’ll be surprised by how far that can take you.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was hold me accountable. They never let me take the easy way out — whether it was school, work, or life decisions. That sense of accountability taught me responsibility early on and made me realize that if I wanted something, I had to show up for it. It shaped the way I approach my work and my goals today.
