Meet Constance Gray

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Constance Gray . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Constance below.

Constance , we sincerely appreciate you joining us today and agreeing to talk about some very personal topics. So, to kick things off, let’s talk about a tough one – divorce. Can you talk to us about how you overcame divorce?
I spent a lot of time in therapy after my divorce. I also had a pretty strong foundation of friends and family that I was able to talk to on my bad days. I also journaled, that was a big way for me to release my sorrows and frustrations. Getting a divorce is only the end of a chapter it’s not the end of your story.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I work as a Sanitation Technician, My cousin and I started the business back in 2018. It has evolved more than what we expected. We started out cleaning commercial buildings. To date we have added residential, airbnbs and currently vacant homes.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My three most important qualities are that I am reliable, progressive and humble. People can count on me. When I say that I am going to do something I keep my word. I am progressive I have forward thinking. I tend to always want to learn something new or start a new project. I’m humble. I accept the hood with the bad and understand that life is a journey not a race.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I am overwhelmed I pray. That’s where I find the most peace. I talk to God.
