We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Monika Reyes. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Monika below.
Monika, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my parents. Growing up, I watched them work incredibly hard to give us things I didn’t even realize were luxuries until I got older. My parents worked jobs they didn’t always love, but they showed up every day because they loved us and wanted to make sure we always had what we needed, and more. They taught me that true work ethic isn’t just about your job; it’s about how you show up for your family, how you balance life’s responsibilities, and how you pour your time and love into the people and things that matter most. Now that I’m a parent myself, I understand that work ethic is really about consistency, commitment, and heart in every area of life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m the proud owner of The Dedicated Tax Pros, a growing tax franchise that helps individuals and small business owners not only file their taxes but truly understand their finances so they can build long-term wealth. Over the years, what started as a small tax business has evolved into a brand centered on education, empowerment, and community.
Alongside my franchise, I’m also a business coach and the founder of The Impact Community, a networking and development space designed to help entrepreneurs connect intentionally, collaborate meaningfully, and scale with clarity. I’ve always believed that success isn’t built alone, and my mission is to create spaces where people feel supported, seen, and equipped to grow.
What excites me most about what I do is watching transformation happen , whether that’s a client gaining confidence in managing their business finances, a new tax preparer stepping into entrepreneurship, or two strangers at an event walking away as business partners. That’s the real “impact” behind my work.
Right now, I’m focused on expanding my franchise opportunities, launching new coaching programs, and continuing to grow the Impact Community through events that bring purpose-driven entrepreneurs together. Everything I do ties back to the same vision: helping people build lives and businesses that align with their values, with faith, focus, and financial freedom at the core.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are faith, consistency, and communication.
Faith has always been my foundation it kept me grounded through uncertainty and reminded me to trust the process, even when the outcome wasn’t clear. Building a business and leading a team both require a level of belief that goes beyond what you can see.
Consistency is what turns dreams into reality. There were seasons where things were slow, but showing up daily even in small ways built the momentum that eventually created major wins. My advice to anyone starting out is: don’t wait to feel motivated. Stay consistent, and the results will follow.
And finally, communication learning how to speak, listen, and connect with people has been everything. Whether it’s clients, team members, or business partners, strong communication builds trust and alignment. If you’re early in your journey, focus on developing how you articulate your vision and how you listen to others both are equally important.
At the end of the day, those three qualities faith, consistency, and communication have shaped not just my career, but how I lead and serve others.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely , I’m always open to partnering and collaborating with people who lead with purpose. I love connecting with entrepreneurs, coaches, service providers, and community builders who believe in collaboration over competition and are passionate about creating real impact.
Whether it’s through The Impact Community, my Link & Leverage networking events, or future Impact Table experiences, I’m always looking to collaborate with brands and individuals who value growth, authenticity, and service.
