We recently had the chance to connect with Stephanie Soto and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Honestly, I totally lose track of time when I’m working on passion projects—especially anything creative where I’m building something from the ground up. I get super locked in when I’m editing, planning content, or helping someone bring their idea to life. Hours go by and I don’t even notice.
What brings me back is seeing growth—either in the people I work with or in my own work. When a creator starts feeling more confident, or a brand sees results from something we made together, it’s like, oh yeah, this is why I love what I do. That reminder of progress is what grounds me and kind of resets me in the best way.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Stephanie Soto, the owner of Sxclusive Media—I’m a freelance video editor and content creator based in Phoenix, AZ. I work with creators, small businesses, and brands to help them show up online in a way that feels real, intentional, and visually engaging. I’m big on storytelling, clean edits, and helping people translate their ideas into content that actually connects.
What makes my work unique is that I’m not just “editing a video”—I focus on strategy, consistency, and growth. A lot of my clients come to me because they’re overwhelmed or don’t know how to turn raw videos into something polished, and I love being the person who brings their vision to life while making the process easier.
Right now, I’m expanding my services into monthly content retainers for YouTube, podcasts, and short-form platforms, and I’m also working on digital products and resources for creators who want to DIY but still want guidance. My goal is always the same: help people build confidence on camera, grow creatively, and tell their stories with clarity and style.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Definitely my partner. We both run our own businesses, so he understands the highs and lows that come with building something from scratch. Even in the moments when I doubted myself or felt stuck, he always saw the bigger version of me before I was able to. He’s the person who reminds me of what I’m capable of, pushes me to take risks, and celebrates every win—big or small. Having someone believe in your vision before you fully believe in it yourself is powerful, and I’m really grateful for that kind of support.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell her, “You don’t have to have everything figured out right away. Keep creating, keep trying, and trust that the things that feel natural to you now are going to make sense later. You’re not behind—you’re building.”

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d probably say I care most about genuine connections and making memories. I’m the type of person who values real conversations, shared experiences, and being present with the people I care about. Whether it’s working on a project together, traveling, or just hanging out, I’m all about moments that actually mean something—not just surface-level stuff.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing? 
I think I’d regret not fully living life on my own terms—taking the chances, trusting myself more, and not holding back out of fear or doubt. I don’t want to look back and realize I played it safe instead of believing in myself and going all in on the things that mattered to me.
