Daniel and Cooper Nagore-Adams shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Daniel and Cooper , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
We’re most proud of the foundation we’ve built together, our values, our trust, and the way we support each other behind the scenes. People see the events, the projects, and the results, but what they don’t see is the late nights, the quiet conversations, and the shared vision that keeps us grounded and connected through it all.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Daniel and Cooper Nagore-Adams,
partners in life and in purpose. Together, we’ve created a brand that’s really a reflection of who we are: driven by purpose, fueled by community, and inspired by the place we call home. We focus on building experiences and partnerships that highlight the best of Tyler while encouraging others to get involved and dream bigger. Our work is constantly evolving, but at the heart of it all is a shared vision to make a lasting difference and inspire others to do the same.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Our earliest memory of feeling powerful came from realizing that true power isn’t about recognition or control, it’s about using what you have to help others. We both felt that spark the first time we gave back to our community and saw the difference even a small act of kindness could make. There’s something incredibly grounding about that knowing your time, effort, or voice can lift someone else up. That’s where we still find our greatest sense of power today: in service, in giving back, and in helping our community grow stronger together.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Like anyone chasing a purpose, there have definitely been moments when things felt heavy when the obstacles seemed bigger than the dream. But what’s kept us going is our ‘why.’ Every time we’ve felt close to giving up, we’ve seen a reminder of why we started, a person we’ve helped, a community moment that mattered, or just each other’s encouragement. Those moments remind us that growth isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. Giving up was never really an option, because what we’re building is so much bigger than us.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. What you see publicly is really who we are, just maybe with a little more polish and a tighter schedule. We’ve always believed in showing up as our authentic selves, whether it’s at an event, in our community work, or at home with friends. We’re not trying to create an image; we’re trying to reflect our values. Of course, everyone has private moments of rest and reflection, but at the core, what people see is who we truly are, two people who love what we do, love each other, and care deeply about making a difference
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
People might misunderstand our legacy as being about recognition or personal success. Really, it’s about creating paths for those who didn’t have opportunities and leaving a blueprint for others to follow, the quiet ways we lift people up and strengthen our community. We hope people remember that we cared enough to make a difference, even when no one was watching
