Hi Spacey, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have you stood up for someone when it cost you something?
Yes. In recent times it has been the people of Palestine, Sudan & Congo. I share their posts & words as often as I can. I try to stay informed so I can properly educate people on what’s going on & stand up for them & raise their voices. But in doing so this has caused shadowbanning on my page, low interactions w my posts & low engagement. That wont change my vision. Here at Stay Spacey we believe that all people deserve to find strength & solice in themselves. They should take pride in their roots & in who they are. These people need us to speak for them & let them know that we still see them for who they are, human.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, my name is Spacey & I own Stay Spacey Creations. Currently i have been harnessing my painting skills as a semi new glass painter. This skill has definitely been one of the most difficult to navigate but w so much rewarding towards my self expression & has opened up the door to me offering new ways of helping people find their own ways of healing.
Here at Stay Spacey, I use my creative vision on jewelry & home decor, combined w my knowledge on crystals & auras, to help people heal & find their inner selves. We call this journey “traveling through the catacombs” which is us traveling thru our past selves to find the path we are meant to be on to find our true selves.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That i didn’t have any strength. I was abused as a child & it often left me to believe that my words were my weakness, alongside my emotions. But now as an adult, my poetry & my connection w my emotions have become my biggest strength & has helped heal people all around the world, including healing myself.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Plenty of times, I definitely get overwhelmed w the stillness at times. No sales, no one seeing my page, no movement of my pieces. But I always remind myself that to be unique means to find unique individuals. Popularity is only an inch in the pool of how success is visualized. I try to remember that having the chance to create things that truly speak to me & knowing someone can look at my pieces & go “thats something Spacey made” means ive succeeded in my heart.

My family. My family gives me so much motivation to continue on in life & keep going.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Ive never really gotten praise in my life for anything ive ever done so I think it wouldnt be any different. Praise is nice when its genuine but I feel like having genuine support is more important.
