We’re looking forward to introducing you to Madeline Middleont. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Madeline, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
People often see this type of business and mistake it for coaching or motivation — but it’s so much deeper than that. Power of 3 isn’t about hype; it’s about alignment. We help leaders and organizations bring structure to their calling — merging Kingdom principles with practical strategy. It’s not just “feel-good” leadership development; it’s equipping people to operate with excellence, clarity, and purpose in every area of their assignment.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Madeline Middleton, and I’m the founder of Power of 3 Services — a faith-centered leadership and organizational development firm that helps people and teams lead with both excellence and obedience.
After years of leading in both corporate and ministry spaces, I realized there was a gap: so many gifted believers felt called to lead but didn’t know how to merge strategy with spiritual alignment. Power of 3 was born to close that gap — to help people lead in the natural with Kingdom order through what we call the Power of 3 Framework: Vision, Structure, and Development.
Recently, I released my first book, The Art of Managing Upwards: Leading with Obedience, Influence, and Faith, which combines biblical principles, personal stories, and practical tools to help readers lead from any seat. My heart behind everything I do — whether it’s business consulting, ministry development, or writing — is to help people move from feeling stuck to walking boldly in purpose with clarity and confidence.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The Lord, of course — He’s the One who called and shaped me long before I had language for purpose. But in the natural, it was my parents. They always recognized something in me — a quiet drive and conviction to do things right and with excellence. Looking back, I know that was the Holy Spirit’s work in me from an early age. They nurtured that standard, even when I didn’t fully understand it myself, and I’m so grateful they did.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me resilience and a deeper confidence in God’s timing. Success can make you feel in control, but suffering reminds you that you never truly were — and that’s a gift. I’ve learned that closed doors are often the Lord’s protection, not rejection. Obey Him the first time, and don’t try to force what He hasn’t approved.
Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” That truth has anchored me through every season — reminding me that even in pain, He’s preparing something greater than I could see.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say my faith and love for Jesus matter most to me — everything in my life flows from that foundation. They’d probably also say I care deeply about doing what’s right, even when it’s not popular, and that I’m not afraid to speak truth with grace. And of course, my family — they are my heart and constant reminder of God’s goodness.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” That verse sums it up for me. When faith is first, everything else — purpose, integrity, family, and fulfillment — falls into divine order.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I impacted their lives in a way that led them closer to Jesus. Not because I preached from a stage or built a platform, but because of how I lived — how I loved people, even when it wasn’t easy.
I want my life to reflect quiet obedience — the kind that doesn’t always make headlines but leaves a mark on hearts. If people can look back and say, “She loved well, she led with integrity, and she made me want to know God for myself,” that would mean everything to me.
At the end of the day, it’s not about recognition or achievement — it’s about legacy. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” That’s the story I want my life to tell — one of faithfulness, love, and a quiet but lasting impact for the Kingdom.
