elaine tsung on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to elaine tsung. Check out our conversation below.

elaine, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A typical day follows a split schedule. I dedicate the first few hours to reviewing projects, finalizing tasks, and sending deliverables to clients for feedback. Midday, I step away from the screen to recharge, often with a tennis session, a visit to the chiropractor, or a coffee catch-up with a friend. I then return for another focused work block in the afternoon to wrap up ongoing project

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Elaine Tsung, founder and lead strategist of Manifest Design Team, a boutique creative agency specializing in brand identity and Showit website design for entrepreneurs, coaches, and wellness professionals. What makes our work unique is the blend of strategy and soul. Every project we create is designed not only to look beautiful but to deeply connect with the audience and drive real results.

My journey started as a solopreneur with a passion for helping others express their value and vision online. Over time, Manifest has evolved into a small but mighty team serving clients around the world, combining design, storytelling, and systems to help brands grow with clarity and confidence.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe that I had to work for someone else in order to achieve financial freedom. Over time, I realized that true freedom comes from creating your own path, taking risks, and building something that aligns with your values and vision.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
My biggest fear has always been losing everything — the stability, the progress, the sense of security I’ve worked so hard to build. It’s a fear that has both driven me and, at times, held me back. Learning to trust myself and rebuild from uncertainty has been one of the most powerful lessons in my journey.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is very much the real me — the one who isn’t afraid to share my daily stories, wins, and challenges. What you see online is a genuine reflection of my life and work, just shared with intention and purpose.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What light inside you have you been dimming?
I’ve been dimming my light when it comes to setting boundaries with clients. For a long time, I equated being accommodating with being valuable, but I’ve learned that clear boundaries actually create more respect, balance, and better work on both sides.
