Maitri Shah’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

Maitri Shah shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Maitri, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
When my 2 year old noticed me sad and crying and he came to wipe my tears off and said I love you, thats when I realized “I deserve this life and this beautiful moment”

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Maitri Shah, a certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner, passionate about helping Indians globally with self-improvement, mindset, and relationship growth. I work with individuals and teams to build clarity, confidence, and consistency, guiding them to take practical steps toward living intentionally and reaching their goals.

What makes my approach different is that I combine mindset work, NLP, and actionable guidance to help people make lasting changes—whether it’s improving relationships, strengthening personal habits, or developing a more empowered life. Right now, I’m focused on coaching programs that enhance self-growth, boost clarity and confidence, and help teams communicate and collaborate more effectively with empathy and purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband! Dhruvin , he saw me doing great things in my coaching passion even before I could understand the depth I was bringing in other peoples life.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self: You’re exactly enough, even when you doubt yourself. Trust your instincts, embrace your journey, and don’t be afraid to choose the path that feels right for you—it’s okay to grow at your own pace.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people often get it wrong by thinking they don’t need coaching—or that asking for help is a sign of weakness. The truth is, even the brightest minds can get stuck in loops of overthinking, self-doubt, or repetitive patterns. Coaching isn’t about not being capable; it’s about getting clarity, confidence, and consistent momentum so you can move forward faster and with purpose.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
What I understand deeply, that most people don’t, is that consistency is the true differentiator between those who dream and those who achieve. Talent, knowledge, or motivation might get you started, but it’s the small, steady actions taken every day that separate successful people from everyone else.
