Petty , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The 1st 90 minutes of my day is practically a Monday To Friday schedule which consists of MGW

Meditation Gym Work and it’s peaceful because it allows me to focus on my day and strategize what I am going to do that day or what I want to do in the future.

The weekends are meant to relax unless I gotta perform and then I repeat that process for a full day

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

One of the biggest Chiefs fans you will ever meet. But the most important thing about me is that I love to talk to the people and I like to have my fun but when it comes down to business and entertainment I want to give the people what they want and create a vibe for everyone young and old to enjoy.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My grandmother

Her premonition was that one of her children or grandchildren would do something so great and find success in it that it would change the world. That has stuck with me since her passing in 1996 and it’s what has kept me going the last 16+ years in Entertainment and in life period.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Losing my grandmother and grandfather and uncle really hurt but losing my brother almost made me lose it all including my mental health to where I wanted to take my own life because I didn’t want to deal with life anymore but one day I woke up and said ok it’s time to rebuild and what has helped me heal to some degree as my brother’s killer has still not been brought to justice as of yet and I did that by taking accountability for things I have done in the past like the botched “PettyFest” event that was supposed to be in Las Vegas in 2021 but due to COVID it was moved to virtual and I am working on making things right with those it affected and just basically surrounding myself with like minded people and spending as much time with my family as much as I can and getting back on stage and performing and now acting as well

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
No the public version of me as protrayed by others on Social Media is not because of lies and jealousy and hate towards me because the real people that know me, know my heart knows that I mean well and knows that I am willing to grind for mine instead of accepting an handout.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That they really don’t know the truth because of how many lies have been told
