Good morning Adina, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
All of them are equally important. Your integrity reflects who you are as a person and what you will or will not stand for. You definitely need to have the right kind of energy in all things. Your energy is also what you attract in life. Positive mind, positive life. Intelligence shapes you in life. If you are not growing, you are simply existing
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello sunshine!
My name is Adina Porter, and I am the CEO & Founder of Sunshine Body Care LLC. I create and sell all-natural body products for your skin health, which are also fantastic for your self-care needs. What sets our business apart from others is the fact that I offer a variety of scents for my body products, or no scent at all. You have plenty of options. Our products are made with love. My heart’s desire is for everyone to have healthy skin. The skin is the largest organ on our body, but sometimes the most neglected. Sixty percent of what you put on your skin enters your bloodstream. What you put on your skin matters and can impact your health.
I am currently working on a few eBooks and trying to get a project patented.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
The events that transpired in my childhood made me believe that I needed to please everyone. I am now at a place in my life where I no longer believe that. The only ones I need to please are my God and myself. No one will ever be in a position to please everyone and meet every expectation. Love yourself the best you know how and always work on being a better version of yourself every day.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
One of the things I would tell my younger self is to use your voice to stand up for yourself. What you have to say in this world matters greatly. Always shine your light, no matter what.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
What really matters to me is truth, authenticity, positive vibes, and enjoying life. Love is a product of all these things. If we just love one another and treat each other with respect and dignity, this world would be a better place
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
She was a person who was sweet, loving, kind, and a woman of character. She lived her life to the fullest with no regrets. She treated everyone with love and respect to the best of her ability. She had a smile that would light up the room. Her energy was always positive, and she used her life to encourage and uplift people.
