Story & Lesson Highlights with Latasha Burger of Las Vegas

Latasha Burger shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Latasha, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I think what’s often misunderstood about my business is that people assume it’s just about tarot readings or spiritual talk. But it’s really deeper than that. My business is about helping people heal, become more self-aware, and step into their power. It’s not just about predicting what’s next, it’s about helping them understand themselves better and create the kind of future they actually want by doing the work themselves.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Latasha, and I’m the owner of A Spiritual Key Essential. I’m an intuitive reader, healer, and spiritual coach. I help people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. My journey really began after I went through my own healing process after losing my father, experiencing major life changes (job loss, vehicle repossessed, moving back to my hometown), and having to rebuild from the inside out. That’s what led me to my spiritual awakening and eventually to helping others do the same.

What makes my brand unique is that it’s built from my own healing. It’s honest, heartfelt, and comes from a place of real experience. Everything I share from my readings to my content on YouTube, TikTok, IG, and Facebook comes from a place of love, truth, and spiritual guidance. I don’t just talk about healing; I live it and guide others through it. Right now, I’m working on expanding my business to include spiritual baths, t-shirts, and home cleansing kits to help people cleanse and stay balanced in their daily lives.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Two counselors I had saw me clearly before I could see myself. They recognized strengths and potential in me that I hadn’t yet acknowledged. Their guidance helped me build confidence, understand my abilities, and take ownership of my growth. Because of them, I became more self-aware and better able to understand my strengths with helping people heal.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most is the fear of being seen and standing in the spotlight. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been shy and easily embarrassed, and I avoided drawing attention to myself. But over time, through healing and self-discovery, I’ve started to embrace my voice and step into my power. The more I grow, the more I feel a calling to help others on a larger scale. I still feel fear sometimes, but now I do it scared. I don’t let fear stop me from showing up and making an impact.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely! The public version of me is the real me. I’ve learned that the only way to truly help others heal is by being genuine and transparent about who I am. I can’t guide people toward authenticity if I’m hiding behind a mask. While I am a private person in certain areas of my life, I show up as my true self every single day with honesty, vulnerability, and heart. What people see is not a persona, it’s me continuously growing, healing, and sharing that process openly with others.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone, I hope people tell the story of someone who was genuine and authentic, whose presence made them feel truly seen and valued. I hope they say I helped them see life from a new perspective, that my light brought warmth and positivity into every room, and that I treated everyone with kindness and respect, even in moments of disagreement. I hope they remember how deeply I loved my work as a healer, how I embraced my journey fully, and how I inspired others to embrace their own growth. Above all, I hope they remember feeling safe, understood, and empowered when they were with me.
