Reema Trehan’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Reema Trehan and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Reema, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Most mornings start with toddler giggles, coffee, and a quiet check-in with myself about what actually matters today. By 8:45 am I’m at the office, and our 9 am scrum sets the tone. It’s where we call the shots for the day, trade quick updates, and agree on the two or three things we’re really going to land.

From there I slide into PowerPoint and start building momentum. My world is Qualcomm and Snapdragon – lots of frames, lots of B2B narratives, and a constant push to make complex tech feel simple and inevitable. I cut what doesn’t serve the story, tune type and color so they disappear into the message, and map light motion beats so the flow feels effortless. I take short walks to reset my eyes and usually come back knowing exactly what to remove.

We’re a very communicative agency, and that suits me. I talk to everyone – copywriters, senior art directors, creative directors – fast huddles, desk drop-bys, and quick pings to keep things moving. We trade options without ego, pick a lane, and document the call right in the deck so no one is guessing later. Some days everything clicks; other days it’s a wrestle, but the team makes it fun and the work gets sharper.

If I had to sum up my approach in one line: narrative first, systems that scale, tidy files, fast teams. The goal is always the same – leave partners with decks and assets they can actually use, long after I close the file.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Reema Priya Trehan, a Bay Area–based art director with a global edge. I’ve built brands and campaigns across India, Singapore, and the U.S., moving comfortably between tech and beauty – two worlds that shouldn’t mix but absolutely do when the storytelling is right.

I work at Transmission B2B – a fast, collaborative crew that’s very AI-pro and process-driven. My primary brand is Qualcomm Snapdragon, where I design high-impact B2B decks and frames that make complex technology feel simple and inevitable. I’m happiest when the creative is backed by facts, the visuals scale across channels, and the team ships with speed and clarity.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Becoming a mom reshaped everything for me. Carrying my daughter for nine months felt both ordinary and epic at the same time – a kind of quiet power I didn’t fully understand until I lived it. Now that she’s two, my lens is simpler and sharper: giggles, food, nap, and fun times. That basic rhythm keeps me honest. It reminds me to cut the noise, protect what matters, and design for clarity – at work and at home.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I almost gave up when I moved to the U.S. a few years ago. I arrived as a dependent without work authorization, and it felt like my career might stall for good. My husband pushed me to try the O-1 path, and seeing my work through his eyes was a turning point. As creatives, we’re tough on ourselves – nothing ever feels “good enough.” But when someone reflects your achievements back at you, it changes the story. I built the case, earned the O-1, and suddenly had the freedom to work here on my own terms. I’m grateful I didn’t quit – I love the U.S. market, the pace, and the agencies I’ve gotten to partner with. It reminded me that doubt is loud, but evidence is louder.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. The public me is the real me. I’m the same at home and at work – what you see is what you get. I speak my mind, I’m chatty, and I love saying hi to everyone. I’ve got big morning energy, which can be… a lot before coffee. I’m that enthusiastic nugget in every room, and I don’t switch it off for different audiences. Same voice, same vibe, everywhere.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as pure fun and fully alive. Not by campaigns or trophies, but by how it felt to be around me – that I lit up a room, made it safe to say anything without judgment, and laughed loud and often. A little inappropriate in the best way, always up for joy. If that’s the story, I did it right.
