Meet Jordan Justice

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jordan Justice. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jordan below.

Hi Jordan, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Working is something I have enjoyed since a young age. Admiring how hard my parents worked to provide for my siblings and myself. Although I don’t consider what I do as an artist as work when it comes to painting. The possibility and opportunity to uplift others through my artwork is a dream come true. I work as an Aircraft Mechanic as my full time job and paint any chance I can. Providing for my family is priority.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
For over seven years, Jordan Justice Art LLC has been enhancing communities throughout Kentucky and surrounding states with vibrant, custom-designed public murals. My artistic practice centers on collaborating with clients—businesses, cities, and non-profit organizations—to create custom artwork that is deeply rooted in the local history, heritage, and unique attractions. This approach ensures each mural serves not only as a captivating visual element but also as a reflection of the community’s identity, fostering engagement with both residents and tourists. The resulting works are frequently shared on social media, generating significant attention and promoting the featured locations.

My commitment to artistic excellence is evidenced by my invitation to an international art festival in Brazil for the past two years, where I was the sole representative from the United States among fourteen artists worldwide. While I primarily work independently on most mural projects, I readily collaborate with other artists on larger-scale endeavors, festivals, or community programs. Jordan Justice Art LLC operates with comprehensive liability insurance and all necessary documentation to handle projects of any size, ensuring a professional and efficient service.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Early on, I started as an airbrush artist which I believe helped hone my skills as a graffiti artist. Paying attention to the smallest details and how similar the effects of application are. I wish I could say I went to an elaborate art school or studied under a painting mentor. Truthfully, I have taught myself by consuming endless hours of YouTube, trying to replicate effects or techniques over and over till it became second nature. I really enjoy exploring different styles of art. I try to keep an open mind to others and how they work with different mediums. I never turned down advice, no matter what age a fellow artist may be, accepting all wisdom or technique I can. Traveling has really opened my eyes that art is a universal language.

Nurturing creativity, it frequently begins with allowing my mind to wander freely. I’m dedicated to purposefully daydreaming, not merely as an escape, but as a fertile ground for envisioning new possibilities and discovering innovative ways to creative ideas.

If you have just begun your journey as an artist, do me a favor and never turn down an opportunity that scares you. This might just bring out the best version of you as an artist. When you convince yourself that you are capable of overcoming your fears to be successful. Your journey will be full of adventures and achievements.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
If I knew I only had one decade of life left, I believe I would quit my job as an aircraft mechanic and focus on my family and pursue painting opportunities in other countries that I have had to turn down due to time. My family experiencing Brazil’s culture and welcoming community is the best thing I have ever been able to accomplish with my art. Having the ability to continue my journey as an artist, full speed ahead.
