We’re looking forward to introducing you to Gino Bambino. Check out our conversation below.
Gino, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I am wandering down a path that I don’t know where it’s going.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Gino Bambino, and I play guitar and drums for Gino and the Goons. I used to just play guitar and sing, but I relocated to Upstate South Carolina back at the beginning of 2024, and have been doing a one-man band trip ever since. As a band I’ve done 6 full-length LPs, a couple split 12″s, a few ep’s and a handful of singles. Though I’ve recorded a one-man band single for a Bo Diddley comp. I only recently recorded a full-length Lp as a one-man band. It’s coming out on Raw Sugar Records out of New Orleans sometime in early 2026.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Myself.
When did you last change your mind about something important?
Just this morning. The mind is always changing.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Keeping rock n roll music alive.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
He owed me money.
