Cat & Alejandro, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
Chasing the thrill of creating things that didn’t exist until I decided they should. Stopping would be a spiritual death.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Cat Machine Gems is an international Gemstone Art House based out of New York with a galactic theme that specializes in gem cutting art producing dessert sculptors, Jewels and canvas artworks built by Creator & Founder Cat Morales along with Co-Creative Director & Head Gem Cutter Alejandro Zamora.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds are broken when energies shift and no longer match. Getting back on the same wave with someone might restore what’s broken.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes lots of times but then I remember bills need to be paid and that Cat Machine has much more to contribute to Art & Culture.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The Cat Machine project is never ending and I will do this until my last day on this earth.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I was dropped here on this planet to create something and I’m doing it. Many tried to stop Cat Machine for all kinds of different reasons but its not up to any of us and I was born to safeguard it.
