Meet Kendra Hall

We were lucky to catch up with Kendra Hall recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendra, thank you for joining us today and sharing your experiences and acquired wisdom with us. Burnout is a huge topic these days and so we’d love to kick things off by discussing your thoughts on overcoming or avoiding burnout

I overcame burnout by facing the truth that grinding without strategy destroys creativity and health. I used to push without rest. That pace damaged my focus. I shifted.

Now I schedule silence, workouts, prayer, and planning. I protect my time. I work in clear blocks and delegate with purpose. I invest in rest because rest fuels performance.

Burnout taught me that passion without structure leads to exhaustion. Excellence requires energy. I operate from alignment and discipline instead of urgency. That keeps me effective and present across my foundation, my writing work, and my fitness world.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I lead Droppin Jewelz LLC and Jewelz Foundation Inc., two platforms that work together to build leadership, creativity, and emotional wellness in youth and adults. My work centers on helping people tell their stories, strengthen their confidence, and move with purpose.

Through Jewelz Foundation, I host the Dream More Teen Summit each month—a program that brings teens together for real conversations about mental health, entrepreneurship, and identity. Through Droppin Jewelz LLC and my imprint, Jewelz Ink, I mentor authors, create leadership resources, and publish books that speak to healing, growth, and vision.

What excites me most is watching people transform through clarity—when they finally see their own potential as something real and reachable. That’s what drives every book, event, and project I release.

New releases are coming in 2026, including Unbroken Jewelz. Each project ties back to purpose, communication, and personal development—helping people move from survival into strategy.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three qualities shaped my path: endurance, emotional intelligence, and discipline.

Endurance taught me how to stay grounded when life shifted. I learned to adapt fast, reset, and keep momentum through uncertainty. The best way to build it is to start with consistency. Complete what you begin and measure your progress. Every small win strengthens your capacity to handle more.

Emotional intelligence allowed me to connect, lead, and listen with purpose. It’s the difference between reacting and responding. To build it, pause before you speak, learn your patterns, and aim to understand people, not control them.

Discipline turned my vision into action. Creativity only matters when it’s managed well. Set clear standards, protect your time, honor your commitments, and move with focus.

When you master endurance, awareness, and discipline, you become dependable to yourself—and that’s where growth starts.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

We’re expanding partnerships that grow measurable impact in youth leadership, wellness, and creative equity. Jewelz Foundation Inc. develops programs that strengthen mental health, entrepreneurship, and leadership for young people. Droppin Jewelz LLC extends that reach through publishing, media, and training that build community growth and sustainability.
