We were lucky to catch up with Elissa Rose recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Elissa , so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
⸻
“Self-care isn’t a luxury for me — it’s part of the lifestyle I live and promote. Every month, I pour back into myself with a two-hour massage, a facial, and my manicure and pedicure ritual. These aren’t just beauty appointments; they’re intentional moments where I slow down, listen to my body, and remind myself that I deserve to feel good and be cared for. I show up every day for others, so I make sure I show up for myself first.
I’m also leaning into weekly movement — Pilates, stretching, and walks — because wellness isn’t just about how we look, it’s about how we feel and function.
Prioritizing self-care keeps me grounded, energized, and aligned. When I’m rested and restored, I serve at a higher level, think clearer, and lead with more grace and intention. Taking care of myself directly impacts how I take care of others — it’s impossible to pour from an empty cup.”

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At E.Rose Health Wellness & Holistic Therapy Spa, I specialize in creating transformational wellness experiences that merge luxury, healing, and results. As a Spa Owner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Post-Operative & Body Sculpting Specialist, and Self-Care Expert, my passion lies in helping clients recover, restore, and reconnect with their bodies on a deeper level. Every treatment—whether it’s post-op care, lymphatic drainage, sculpting, or relaxation therapy—is performed with intention, compassion, and precision to ensure each client experiences The E.Rose Experience in its truest form.
What excites me most is witnessing transformation—the way confidence, peace, and glow return when someone chooses to invest in themselves. My work is purpose-driven; I believe self-care is not selfish, it’s essential to living well and showing up fully for life.
I’m currently expanding E.Rose Health Wellness & Holistic Therapy Spa under The E.Rose Experience, which now includes Massage in Motion Mobile Wellness Spa, bringing luxury healing directly to clients’ homes, and the Health, Wellness & Holistic Therapy Spa Professional Academy, where I train and certify other professionals in post-op and holistic spa services. My mission is to elevate the wellness industry by teaching others how to blend skill, heart, and healing—creating experiences that change lives, one body and one soul at a time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are faith, resilience, and vision. Faith has carried me through every high and low—it keeps me grounded and reminds me that my purpose is bigger than any obstacle. Resilience has taught me how to push through the challenges of entrepreneurship, even when things don’t go as planned. And vision—being able to see beyond the present—has allowed me to build, create, and evolve with intention.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is simple: keep God first, write the vision and make it plain, and trust your process. Stay focused on your own lane, don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter twenty, and remember—entrepreneurship is a journey with both bumps and blessings. Buckle up, stay consistent, and enjoy the ride, because every season is shaping you for your next level.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
My biggest area of growth this past year has been embracing authenticity and honoring my boundaries without guilt. I’ve reached a place where I no longer shrink myself to make others comfortable. I understand that saying “no” is a form of self-respect, and protecting my peace is a non-negotiable part of my success. Standing firm in who I am has allowed me to attract the right people, opportunities, and energy—everything that aligns with my purpose. This season has been about walking in truth, standing in power, and choosing me unapologetically.
