Meet Karina Pacific

We recently connected with Karina Pacific and have shared our conversation below.

Karina , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

I believe I was born with it.
I have a kind of optimism that doesn’t deny darkness, loss, sadness or pain, it’s the kind that remembers the light and upside in all, even when it’s hard to see. My optimism comes from the initial goodness we were born with, even when most can’t see it. I see it.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried this quiet certainty that things can always turn our ok, even when I don’t see it, that beauty finds a way back. It isn’t something I had to learn or protect; it’s something that breathes through me, like rhythm, like grace.
I was essentially parentless as a child, but I was curious like every child. I always remember feeling better —lighter and brighter, more drawn to the brighter side of things. That craving saved me, a parentless child. My mother was rarely present, and when she was, she had a victim-woes-me mindset that felt foreign and uncomfortable to me; I’m almost allergic to it.
Even in the midst of pain, disappointments, or endings, I’ve always felt beginnings whispering underneath. It particularly comes from a deeper intelligence, faith, god, source, the part of me that already knows everything is connected, everything is working toward wholeness, even when it looks like falling apart.
Even if I don’t know what’s next, my glass-half-full obnoxiousness knows something for my highest good is typically on the other end.
It’s how I make sense of life, how I move through the world, with a kind of trust that isn’t naïve, but cellular. My optimism is memory, not mindset. It’s who I was before the world taught me fear.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a passionate entrepreneur, esthetician, wellness lover, and seasoned realtor with over two decades of experience helping others reclaim their radiance from the inside out. My approach to beauty and investment goes beyond the surface—it’s about addressing what lies beneath. Whether guiding someone through a real estate transition or crafting a personalized skincare ritual, I bring market insight and trends, intuition, and heart to every connection.
Rooted in my own healing journey of breaking cycles and choosing growth, I believe in the power of presence and the ripple effect of small, intentional acts of care, whether in wellness or real estate, two industries that shape how we live and feel.
I’m especially excited about expanding KismetK to include curated wellness experiences, virtual consultations, and home rituals that merge beauty, mindset, and environment. My mission is simple yet profound: to remind others that wellness and investing can coexist—and that every conscious choice toward wholeness transforms everything, one face, one home, one conversation at a time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, four qualities have truly shaped my journey: resilience, intuition, connection, and positivity.
Resilience taught me how to turn pain into purpose. Coming from a story of breaking ancestral generational cycles, I’ve learned that growth isn’t linear; it’s layered, much like the skin itself. Every challenge has been a teacher, every setback a sacred redirection. To anyone trying to make sense of things: let your challenges refine you, not define you. There’s strength in surrender, and empowerment in rebuilding.
Intuition has been my compass. My quiet partnership with faith, God, Source, the higher power that speaks through prayer, subtle nudges, and divine timing. It’s that unshakable knowing that arrives before logic catches up. Whether in business, wellness, or real estate, trusting that voice has guided my most aligned decisions. To strengthen it, create stillness. Pray, journal, or breathe in silence. That’s where clarity meets grace, and the all-knowing we were born with.
Connection is the heartbeat of everything I do. I believe in the power of human touch, eye contact, and genuine care, whether through skincare, home transitions, or simple conversation. When you see people deeply, you create spaces for them to rise. Relationships, not transactions, have always been the foundation of my success.
And then there’s positivity! My glass-half-full way of seeing the world. It’s not about ignoring pain, but about choosing light, every single time. That optimism has carried me through reinvention, anchored my faith, and infused my work with tenacity and possibility. I’ve learned that your energy introduces you before you do, and positivity attracts the very life you’re meant to live.
My advice is this: build your life from the inside out. Root yourself in faith, resilience, joy, and love—and watch how everything you touch transforms, face by face, home by home, moment by moment.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

There are so many books that have shaped who I am, but a few stand out as true companions on my journey, each arriving at just the right time, each offering wisdom that continues to unfold in new ways.
A Woman’s Worth by Marianne Williamson reminded me of the sacred power of femininity. Not having had much female guidance growing up, this book felt like the voice of an older sister or wise mother, teaching me that strength and softness can coexist, and that reclaiming our worth is an act of healing.
Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom by Dr. Christiane Northrup opened my eyes to the profound intelligence of the body. It taught me that our bodies speak to us constantly, and when we truly listen, we can begin to heal ourselves from the inside out.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz grounded me in simplicity and spiritual discipline. Its timeless truths are impeccable: don’t take things personally, don’t make assumptions, and always do your best.
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie reminded me that connection is an art form. It reinforced the power of empathy, listening, and genuine interest in others. Principles that have been foundational in both my real estate career and my holistic practice.
The Body Keeps the Score by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk was transformative in helping me understand trauma and how the body holds our stories, and how true healing requires compassion, patience, and presence.
The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer taught me the beauty of surrender and how to let go, trust the flow of life, and live from the seat of the soul rather than the noise of the mind.
And Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi reminded me that relationships are everything. That generosity, authenticity, and connection are the real keys to success.
Each of these books has met me at different points in my evolution—as a woman, a healer, and an entrepreneur—and their collective wisdom continues to shape how I show up: with faith, openness, and a deep belief in our capacity to grow, connect, and begin again.
