Meet Cherelle K.

We were lucky to catch up with Cherelle K. recently and have shared our conversation below.

Cherelle, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I honestly think by praying a lot and waking up everyday and working towards my goals and dreams!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am an upcoming rapper & Actress in Austin, Texas. I am also a live tv show director for CBS Austin. I Have recently released my first full project called “THE LOVELY BONES MIXTAPE”, which includes 14 tracks.

I have different film projects in the works that I will be acting in. I am also in preproduction for my short film/ comic ” HOOD WOLF”. I am in the process of building a community around the story. Hood Wolf will be in a film panel in August 2026. Follow on Instagram “@officialHoodwolf” to follow along with the journey.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Firstly, being patient with yourself. Also, when something does not feel right, go with that gut feeling and moving around for the situation. Lastly my journey is lead by God.

The advice I give to people starting their journey in music or film is to never give up on yourself. At the end of the day, it is only YOUR responsibility to make your dreams come true.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
God & having my mom, aunts, cousins in my corner to help me through things.
