Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
The person who taught me the most about work is my mom. After her and my dad’s divorce, she worked three jobs and went to school, all while raising the three of us. She showed me what true dedication and strength look like. Even when things were tough and my dad was managing his mental health, she never let us go without. Watching her sacrifice so much and keep pushing forward taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and doing whatever it takes for the people you love.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and started using it as power when I chose recovery and committed to staying sober. For a long time, I carried my pain in silence, but through my journey of healing, I realized that my struggles, grief, and the losses I’ve faced could be turned into something meaningful. Instead of letting them break me, I’ve used them to build strength, empathy, and purpose. Now, I use my story to help others who are fighting their own battles, while continuing to grow and rebuild myself every day. My pain became my fuel and my proof that transformation is possible.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me today is finally the real me. For a long time, people only saw the troublemaker, the addict, the one who couldn’t seem to get it together. I carried a lot of pain back then, and it showed in the way I lived. But over time through recovery, growth, and a lot of self-work I became the person I was always meant to be. Now, the public sees me as a hard-working husband, father, and artist who uses music as therapy, not just for myself but to help others heal too. The difference is, this version isn’t an act it’s me, fully, honestly, and finally at peace with who I am.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m with my wife and child those moments where everything slows down and I can just be present with them. Whether it’s laughing together, spending a quiet evening at home, or seeing my child smile, that’s when I feel truly grounded. I also find peace when I’m creating music. It’s my release a way to process everything I’ve been through and turn it into something meaningful. Between my family and my art, I find a balance that fulfills me as both a husband, a father, and an artist. That’s when I feel completely at peace with who I am and where I am in life.
