Ambassador Mercy Ifeanyi Nwachukwu on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Ambassador Mercy Ifeanyi Nwachukwu shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Mercy Ifeanyi , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What battle are you avoiding?
Talking about battle my normal life is faced by battles on daily basis hence I have no battles to avoid because I fight daily battles and this has been the pattern for me for decades on

I I am stronger today in my works of life because I have never avoided any of them battles I have faced and fought them squarely and made victories even when they have broken me most times I still struggle and have to use the experiences and challenges as my yardstick for future projects and success

I am a survivor and warrior so battles don’t scare me but I love to tackle them and make meanings from their tough experiences this has shaped my life and help to build my dreams and life goals

Thank you

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Ambassador Mercy Ifeanyi Nwachukwu I am a female entrepreneur and a marketing and sales senior consultant from Nigeria Africa , I am a humanitarian and philanthropist who passionately supports the needy and vulnerable people across Africa and mostly as a missionary I travel a lot and try as much as I can to touch lives and impact people positively wherever I find myself

I have two NGOs non profit organization that advocates for women the girl child and the youths , I am a core catholic that practice the act of giving by providing corporal work of mercy and that’s the basis and foundational aims and goals of my two NGOs

I started working after my high school graduation and my organizations have existed for twenty five years of pure works of charity and humanitarian services cutting across other African countries but very visibly in Nigeria as my home country of origin

My passion for humanitarian services started when I was a teenager and I have always lived my life by touching others and giving a helping hand to those who really are in need but have no one to assist them I touch areas where most times people neglect or don’t even go to like helping the poor the sick the hungry , the naked the lonely and dejected the abandoned the widows and orphans the widowers and the aged even the dead we visit morgues thru my organization to support and bury them when left abandoned

What makes my work interesting is that I do it passionately with peace and love and that gives me satisfaction when I have to sacrifice everything I got to make sure I help those in date need the work I do and how I do it makes it a a special calling for me and I have been into this for twenty five years and still on going as this will only end when I leave this earth finally at old age I am very pleased doing the works of humanity and I have no regrets doing it despite the challenges and trials I face from it

I would love to announce to the world thru this medium that the work I do is going global and have cut across the shores of my origin country Nigeria and Africa at large and currently I am working from Africa to Canada and hoping to reach other countries of the world like the European countries and others at large spreading the message of love and the act of giving and humanitarian assistance and Missionery call to serve humanity and also learn from other countries their ways of giving and impacting others especially when it has to do with the needy amongst us and the less privileged ones

I would love to partner with other organization and people with similar interests and heart of humanity services I would love to visit other countries and reach out to the needy thru my Missionery calls I have gained wealth of experience from over two decades of my service to humanity in Africa especially at grass root level from My country Nigeria and would love to share this rare privileged experiences with anyone who cares to learn from it or to know about them

Presently I have worked thru various projects in helping the needy and the vulnerable and I am still working in various capacities to keep reaching out to people who need assistance in a charitable way and I seek global connections to collaborate with multiple organizations internationally and even locally to build a stronger foundation for helping the needy and my nearest projects at hand right now is to build a massive network and physical home for the needy where I would have structures for the homeless to find shelter the orphanage and the aged , a mentoring. School and home for people generally to visit and find solace in times of difficulties this is a project that requires huge focus and finance I am working currently to raise capital and seek foreign and global partners to help build this project to help the needy people in my community and otherwise

My NGOs are globally known now and they both have online presence and have various records to show for the works done from the past till date my organizations goes by the name Women Centre for the family intl and Mercy Youth Assembly Nigeria both duly registered and operates under the right conditions

I am very open to working with international organizations who are ready to collaborate and work thru to reach the needy people in Africa and raise a helping hand for those who have finally lost their hope and identity

Thank You

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Growing up for me was filled with family rules and societal Norms, values and beliefs, even the church molded my life and made me live my life in guidelines and watch from those i looked up to as family and the values layed down hence I can say I followed the rules and grew up following due process that serves as a guide and pattern to living a good and positive life .

My family was the closest to me and I followed my family values and teaching growing up for me was not easy due to my family background but still I believed in all I was taught and learned from my parents and siblings with close friends and associates

I was made to believe while growing up that I am a child of God and should never deviate from the ways and commandments of God and other family values my parents preached love and respect for others with a heart of giving but when I became older with my challenges and experiences in life that shaped my life spiritually and emotionally I got to know the realities of life and my true identity and this has made me come to the realization that some aspects of life I believed and lived on thru what my parents and family taught me while growing up as a little child we’re not real and that changed my whole life and till date I feel disappointed knowing the truth and knowing they never practiced what they preached but rather they live on values that would hinder my progress as an adult

This has sharpened my life now and I have a better lifestyle and believe in realities of life this has helped me in achieving my dreams &. goals and have also helped in pursuing my future goals which in no longer time I will actualize them all

Thank you

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has always been for me the stage to work on while carrying out my works here on earth the nature of my calling and service to humanity has always put me on the path of been brutalized and betrayed and attacked by people especially the ones closest to me I have faced difficulties so much and it has been so severe that I have come to realize it’s part of my work hence they serve as experience for me

For every success I have ever recorded came with massive suffering and I have learnt a lot from my sufferings than the successes recorded

Suffering have taught me to be resilience and strong focused and determined to never give up on anything or project that I set for myself in my work and this has been the bridge between me and my success stories I go thru pain to gain I pass thru suffering to success and the experiences I have gathered from my suffering is my best teacher and learning field because it has shaped my personality and have also helped me nurture and build an organization that is growing globally today and with determination will have more visibility in the nearest future .

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The belief and project I have committed myself to no matter how long it has been is my dreams goals and aims in life where my passion drives me towards my calling to serve humanity and help the world to become a better place by preaching love and kindness peace and the act of giving

This project has taken so much long time and the best part of my life has been sacrificed and given towards realizing this dream even when the world and people around me especially my family have given up on me and have frustrated my effort to stop this project but I have been dogged and resilient never given up but still believe in myself and my calling to serve humanity

It has been a race too far from when I began but till date I am never giving up despite the set backs and challenges I will keep going till the end

I am never ever going to give up on my mission

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I am doing exactly what I was born and called to do on earth and this is the service to mankind service to humanity and love and act of giving and mentoring to make the world a better and peaceful place

I was born for what I am doing today and I feel so happy and proud of myself to have recognized this great potential early in life and have served till this time and still wiling and able to serve as long as I live for God and humanity i will never deviate or stop the work I am doing which aligns with my dream and mission here on earth

I am very proud of myself despite the challenge I am still waxing stronger and willing to get to the end
