Thomas Snyder of Tuscaloosa on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Thomas Snyder. Check out our conversation below.

Thomas, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
This entire year, I have been proud of not only myself, but my community (Finesse Kartel) for the growth and diversification in the content. The previous two years of my streaming career, we were locked to ONE game (Fall Guys specifically) but to not limit the platform, we were able to push a variety of games, expand into more Just Chatting / IRL, bring guests on stream, etc..

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Finesse The Producer. I have been grinding an entrepreneurial career for quite some time. I started by making beats/instrumentals in 2012. In 2017, I expanded to being a recording/mixing/mastering engineer as well as an artist. Fast forward – since October 2022, I am now (also) a Twitch streamer (which comes w/ being a content creator). I strive to inspire others while bridging the gap between gaming and music w/ my energetic personality.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
I would say the community I have been able to build and the relationship amongst each person within it has shaped how I see myself. During streams, I am able to be myself and express my personality to the fullest while knowing that it’s putting a smile on somebody’s face.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I’m sure I have almost gave up a few times during my journey between music and streaming / content creation, but I just remind myself of my purpose and with the discipline instilled within myself, I remain positive, keep pushing and strive for better.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Because of how much I stream and how much content I edit for social media, they’d 100% say that streaming / content creation matters most to me – which would be true. Although I started in music, I found that I have the MOST passionate for streaming / content creation.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
People will think I didn’t have fun, because I don’t go out to parties, clubs, etc. every weekend, but truthfully, I find fun in what I’m passionate about – which is music and streaming / content creation.
