Meet Paty Araiza

We were lucky to catch up with Paty Araiza recently and have shared our conversation below.

Paty , so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

I’m 28 years old. I’m a woman. I’m Mexican. I’m a mom. I’m a founder.
And in almost every professional room I walk into, I’m the only one who looks like me.

In the early years of my career, I didn’t see women in sales leadership, let alone women in the C-suite. I didn’t see women building their own companies. I saw one demographic at the top, and it didn’t look like me.
For years, that shaped how I saw myself. It made me question what was possible.

Then I found a community through LinkedIn of women breaking barriers, leading teams, building companies, raising families, and rewriting the rules.

Seeing them shatter glass ceilings did something profound for me. It gave me permission to imagine myself at the top, too.

Seeing their stories showed me a new narrative. Seeing their achievements made me believe I could do it too. And that shift in belief is what led me to become an entrepreneur.

This is why representation matters to me. It doesn’t just inspire, it expands our definition of “possible.”
So now, when I walk into a room and I’m the only woman, the youngest founder, the only Latina, or the only mom, I see it as a responsibility to show up fully because someone out there needs to see what’s possible for them.

Every time I take a seat at a table where I’m the only one, I’m reminded of why showing up matters. I’m creating the very representation I once needed. And that has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a sales consultant and career coach, and my work centers on helping people and companies find clarity. Clarity in their next career move, clarity in their sales strategy, and clarity in how to build something that supports their goals and well-being.

I’ve managed, hired, developed sales talent, and built the systems teams needed to scale. I strengthened sales processes, created onboarding programs, and helped early-stage companies build foundations that drive real revenue.

Now, I help professionals and companies reach their full potential with intention and strategy.

Right now, I’m focused on the official launch of Sales Career Lab. I’m building an ecosystem that blends sales consulting and career coaching. The goal is simple. Create a place where founders gain clarity in their sales strategy and professionals gain clarity in their careers.

Everything I build comes from one belief. When people gain clarity, they unlock possibility. And helping them reach that moment is the most meaningful part of my work.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

#1 Public speaking:
Great ideas only matter if you can communicate them. Learning to speak clearly and confidently helped me build credibility and influence.
Advice: Join Toastmasters. Speak up often. Practice until sharing ideas feels natural.

#2 Self-awareness:
Being honest with myself about my strengths and gaps made me coachable and helped me grow faster.
Advice: Ask for feedback. Reflect often. Get comfortable seeing your blind spots.

#3 Love of learning:
I am always learning. Books, podcasts, webinars. Continuous growth keeps you sharp and adaptable.
Advice: If learning feels hard, start with one topic you genuinely enjoy. Curiosity builds consistency.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes, I am always open to collaborating with people, companies, and brands that align with my mission!

I love partnering with:
• Founders and CEOs who want to strengthen their sales strategy or rebuild their sales engine
• Sales leaders who want coaching and development for their teams
• Companies and brands that want to offer career clarity or sales coaching as part of their programs
• Organizations looking to bring in workshops, sales training, or speaking for their teams
• Mission-driven brands that care about empowering people to grow and reach their potential

If your work aligns with helping people advance in their careers or helping companies elevate their sales performance, I would love to explore a partnership.
