Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eliana Benigar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Eliana, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I left my home in Patagonia, Argentina, when I was 17 years old. Coming from a small town and looking back now, more than ten years later, I can see how much life has shaped me. I’ve lived in many cities, and in each place I’ve had to rebuild, adapt, and keep moving forward while building my career.
For me, resilience comes from strength and from trusting that everything will work out, but also from hard work and a focused, disciplined mindset. Discipline isn’t something most of us are born but a skill we develop by consistently doing the difficult things. Over time, that becomes our foundation.
I’ve learned to believe in myself, in my abilities, and in the purpose that brought me here. And I try to push myself to be uncomfortable every day, even when life feels comfortable, because that’s where real growth happens.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I first became a real estate broker in Los Angeles in 2019, where I was living at the time. Later, wanting to grow and experience something new, I moved to New York City and continued my career as a broker there. While I was still in California, I took Feng Shui classes and became a certified consultant in 2021. I brought that knowledge with me to New York and opened a small studio called Elite Feng Shui, using Only Feng Shui as my online branding.
When I arrived in the city, I quickly realized how essential mental stability and clarity are for people living in such small and fast-paced environments. New Yorkers often carry the outside chaos into their homes, and I saw how transforming a space can transform someone’s entire life. A balanced home can create a stronger sense of well-being, more success in their careers, and more alignment with their goals.
Today, while I run my Feng Shui studio, I also remain an active real estate broker in Manhattan with Douglas Elliman.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most important skills I’ve learned from life start with self-discipline. I believe it’s the number one skill, and as I mentioned before, it’s something we develop over time, not something we’re all naturally born with. Discipline has shaped every part of my journey.
I’ve also learned the importance of being a person of trust and integrity. These qualities matter deeply in life, and they are essential for any business you want to build. Another skill that took me time to develop is being on time; it sounds simple, but it reflects respect, reliability, and professionalism.
I’ve learned to understand when it’s the right moment to take action and when it’s better to step back. And one of the biggest lessons has been recognizing that anxiety often comes from avoiding what needs to be done. When we take action, even small steps, the anxiety starts to disappear. Do not let our own minds paralyse us from taking action.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Thinking for myself is something my parents ingrained in me from the time I was little. They always reminded me not to just accept what others tell me, but to pause, reflect, and form my own understanding. That advice shaped who I am.
Growing up, especially coming from a small town and later moving across different cities and countries, I realized how important that lesson truly was. If I allowed every opinion or influence to guide me, I would have lost myself a long time ago.
People always carry their own fears, insecurities, or agendas, even when they mean well. Learning to think independently has helped me stay true to my values, my instincts, and my vision. It’s what has allowed me to build my life on my own terms.
