We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ace. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ace below.
Ace, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
For me, self-care isn’t optional; it’s maintenance for how I show up in the world.
As a spa concierge and male therapist working exclusively with women, unless I’m providing my spa lounge at a special event, I have to stay grounded in calm energy. Before I can help someone reset, I have to be centered myself.
My self-care starts early: quiet time, stillness, and reflection before the day begins. I eat light, keep my body strong, and make time for a morning walk or a session on my favorite exercise bike with Afro-beats rhythm. Those drums are my form of meditation — they clear my mind and bring me back into balance. I guard my peace like a business asset, because it is one. The energy I bring into a client’s home matters just as much as the tools I carry.
When I’m balanced, I can hold space for others to rest especially women who carry so much. Many of my clients are executives, mothers, creatives, and entrepreneurs who live at full speed. They don’t just need a massage; they need permission to stop performing and simply receive. My own self-care reminds me daily that stillness isn’t laziness it’s leadership.
The more I take care of myself, the more present, patient, and effective I become both in business and in life. Suite Spa Los Angeles was built on that truth: you can’t pour from an empty cup, but you can design an entire lifestyle around refilling it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m the founder and Spa Concierge behind Suite Spa Los Angeles, a mobile spa experience designed exclusively for women. I bring the full spa to your space, complete with aromatherapy, LED facials, detox foot baths, and restorative massage, transforming homes, hotels, and vacation rentals into private sanctuaries of calm.
What makes it special isn’t just convenience; it’s connection and control of the environment in the moment. I bring peace into your space in a way that lingers long after I leave. The calm doesn’t stay at the spa it stays with you. You can still feel it when you walk through your home, breathe deeply, or sit quietly later that night. That lasting energy is what turns a single service into an experience.
I’ve found that women, especially high-performing professionals, mothers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, crave more than a treatment but are often hesitant, feeling like they’re asking for too much. They need a moment where they can stop managing and simply receive. My work gives them that permission.
Suite Spa Los Angeles is built on presence and professionalism. Every detail from the music to the timing is curated to help women feel safe, respected, and cared for without ever leaving their environment. Many of my clients also express appreciation for the calm, grounded masculine energy I bring — a form of care that feels both protective and peaceful. For some, it’s their first experience of masculine energy that exists solely to support, not demand.
It’s a lifestyle upgrade most didn’t realize they were missing.
At its heart, Suite Spa Los Angeles is about helping women reclaim stillness in a world that constantly demands their movement. I don’t just deliver spa services — I deliver peace, confidence, and care that stays with you, wherever you are. The calm doesn’t stay at a spa — it stays with you. That’s the quiet luxury behind Suite Spa Los Angeles.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Emotional intelligence, Consistency, and Creative problem-solving.
Emotional intelligence taught me how to really listen not just to what clients say, but to what their bodies and energy communicate. In my work, you have to be sensitive without being fragile, grounded without being guarded. That awareness lets me meet every woman where she is tired, tense, or simply in need of space to breathe.
Consistency built my reputation. In this business, trust isn’t given; it’s earned one Spa Experience at a time. Whether it’s showing up on time, following up with care, or maintaining a calm and professional demeanor, consistency is what turns first-time clients into loyal ones.
And creative problem-solving kept me growing. When you’re a mobile spa concierge, every location is different — with its own unique setup, lighting, temperature, schedule, and parking situation. Sometimes women worry their space is too small, or that the dishes and laundry aren’t done those chores can wait. It’s a consistent worry I see from women, and I always remind them: their space is perfect just as it is. My job is to bring calm, not judgment. You learn to adapt, create a plan of action seamlessly, and still deliver excellence no matter the conditions.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: develop your emotional discipline before your brand. Learn how to self-regulate under pressure and still deliver your best energy because that’s what people remember. Your skill gets you in the room, but your energy determines if you’ll ever be invited back.
You can’t master your craft until you’ve mastered your calm.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Collaborations & Partnerships
I’m always open to thoughtful collaborations that help women experience calm in new ways.
I love partnering with personal assistants of professional women who want to help their clients relax and be fully present for their careers, events, or creative pursuits. I also collaborate with event planners who want to add that “something special” to their client experiences, whether that’s a private, in-suite Spa Experience or a full Spa Lounge activation for larger events.
I’m especially interested in working with female-led self-care brands that offer products or gifts aligned with wellness, restoration, and relaxation for our monthly Spa Experience Giveaways.
And finally, I’m open to gifted collaborations with wellness and spa influencers who share my mission to promote self-care for women, especially those who value professionalism, authenticity, and emotional connection.
