Meet Matthew Campbell

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Matthew Campbell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Matthew with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get my work ethic from my Mother. She instilled a hard working- never say die attitude. It has helped me persevere and to never quit and keep going no matter how challenging things get.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Professionally, I focus on acting and writing. I formed a production company in 2023 called Sinister City Films. We have a slate that we are super excited about. The name of my production company comes from my popular book Sinister City. I have been on a tour with the book and it has been featured on Barnes and Nobles. The book has been turned into a screenplay and now it’s being developed into a incredible Hollywood feature film. Aside from “Sinister City which is an action comedy we have “Uninvited” (horror) Dax Baxter: Demon Hunter (Young Adult Supernatural TV-Series), Groom Lake (Sci-Fi, action adventure) and I also just turned a feature film “Dungeon Of Love” into a vertical micro drama.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back I think the three qualities that have been the most impactful on my journey thus far have been perseverance, consistency and kindness. I think those how are just starting out in the field of acting, writing or any job in the entertainment industry needs these three qualities to thrive.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

I would be doing exactly what I am doing now. Entertaining others through the craft or acting and writing. After all, we never know how much time we have left.
